Don't think it was just the Pouncey pick. I have to admit it's been a long time since we all had a draft to get excited about. Jimmy Johnson made them interesting. Wannstedt was awful, Saban did nothing, Cameron's one season was awful...possibly the worst draft in team history and now Parcells and his clone Ireland play it safe and lack any kind of aggressiveness which trickles down from the way they draft to the way they coach.

It's been a long time, since Marino was drafted in 1983, since we had a draft that put value in the most important position on the field. My father was a season ticket holder during that 72 season. I was at every game. If not for my inability to give up on this team and my unhealthy love affair with the Dolphins I would have given up on them long ago.
 
i dont know if ill give em up, matter of fact i know i wont..ill continue to frequent the sites read info and all that..but iwill not watch the games, get emotionally invloved ive been a fan since 91...but i cant support this ...they have a chance to re energize a fan...which to me is get back into the 2nd roundn get a qb

Hey - Part of the thrill of the draft is that nobody knows how the draft choices turn out. You might be disappointed that we didn't go for a sexier pick but Pouncey could turn out to be the best draft choice since Dan Marino. Who knows!!
Please take it in perspective - you didn't like the pick but this is no reason to give up on the team. The one thing that most of us have in common is a love of our team. Hang in there! Over time we will learn if its a good or bad pick but this is not a good enough reason to just give up.
Mike Pouncey is entering our team with the very best of intentions, let's see what he can do before giving up on him before he takes the field.
 
Good Riddance, leaving a team because we made a safe decision in the draft?? One round into the draft, hope he doesn't try to hop back on board later. The fins don't need fans like him
 
Sheesh. People on this planet. This one little pick is the one that sent you over the edge. I doubt you were ever really a fan. If something this fickle pushed your button... Its been far worse around here.

Dolfans are always happiest when the team is losing! Remember after the lone win in OT in '07 when people were saying they wanted to feel that way every year? Yep. 1-15 every year. Fifteen games to play "I told you so" GM-wannabe. One win to pretend it's your Super Bowl.
