I Renounce My Fandom

To the original poster...Bye....See ya....vio con dios....arifaderchi......later gator, and many more. Been a TRUE fan since I was 5 in 1970,throught the undefeated Super Bowls, all the good years, all the bad,I will die a Dolphin fan.You....never were !

Ive come to the point of no return... realizing that no matter what this team does on or off the field - i simply cannot be made happy.. therefore, i willingly renounce my fandom.. a move that has likely been in the making for the last ten or so seasons...

i will no longer posty here as i realize that 98% of my posts are basically just evidence of my complete dislike for this team and everybody associated with it.. i gave them 38 years.. i wont give them anymore...

Goodbye FinHeaven.
Bu-bye

Who the hell are you anyway?

I can't quit them either, but it is really sickening watching this organization have NO BALLS.
Don't think it was just the Pouncey pick. I have to admit it's been a long time since we all had a draft to get excited about. Jimmy Johnson made them interesting. Wannstedt was awful, Saban did nothing, Cameron's one season was awful...possibly the worst draft in team history and now Parcells and his clone Ireland play it safe and lack any kind of aggressiveness which trickles down from the way they draft to the way they coach.

It's been a long time, since Marino was drafted in 1983, since we had a draft that put value in the most important position on the field. My father was a season ticket holder during that 72 season. I was at every game. If not for my inability to give up on this team and my unhealthy love affair with the Dolphins I would have given up on them long ago.

Ill admit, Ive posted a few times since this thread was made but wondering how YOU all are feeling these days.. lol

feel like ****, but i will never renounce my fandom no matter what. if you survived 1-15, 4-12 and our best player quitting on us before season, or any of the past 10 years, you can survive anything.

I felt the same way .... until I woke up this morning. The sun is shining. Birds are still chirping and life goes on. There's always next year.
I know that's a cliche but with our Dolphins it's become the mission statement of the organization I'm afraid.
