I Renounce My Fandom

i think what all those things above did to me was gradually, yet consistently, chip away at the fan in me.. i really dont root for this team.. im a man without a team right now.. (NFL-wise), i still root for the Canes..

i will say this.. just because i dont root for them doesnt mean that im rooting against them.. im just at the point of indiffernce where i dont even watch the games anymore.. ive seen this movie a thousand times.. i know the ending.

so why even bother coming to a site where all dolphin fans talk about the team if you dont care about the dolphins anymore?
 
Just confirmed my impression at that time that the majority of such "I resign/I'm done/Goodbye" thread-pukers are little more than attention-whoring liars. :idk:

Well if today's rumors (Herm Edwards a possible HC next year) become reality, you'll see a lot more join him, including me. I will be done after 46 seasons....thats enough for me, I am 51 and have to start worrying about my own health over my Dolphins fandom.
 
Roll out the red carpet for Coach Chin. I don't even think he's that great, but **** it. Stay positive.

i wouldnt say people would leave the team if herm was our coach, although that would suck.

the only thing i can see people possibly leaving this team is us having the shot to take andrew luck and not doing so. although i would not leave the team because i just cant, plenty of people may do so, and who would be able to blame them?

i kill some time on the forums and get entertained by some of the conversations - every once in a while, ill post a reply to something.. i dont think there is anything wrong with that.. i dont rub anybodies nose in it or attack anybody unnecessarily.. this board has alot of members - not all of them are dolphin fans..

not attention seeking at all.. youll notice that most people dont even know who i am on here.. i stayed away quite a bit.. maybe have dropped 10-20 comments in 6 months.. im more of a fan of this website than of the actual team.. for whatever thats worth..
 
Dude if you don't care about the team anymore, then **** off. It ain't hard to figure out. You're done? Okay, goodbye. Stop cartwheeling around like an attention whore.

If you would have quit after our 1 - 15 season you would have missed 11 - 5 AFC east champs year. Hang in there. New coach , GM , 1st round QB should do the trick. Hang in there crazy dude. It's only 6 months till the draft.
