I Saw Vonnie Holliday After The Game Sunday

after celebrating for a bit after the game, i quickly drove to get ready for my flight back to montreal. as i was getting into my rental car i saw Vonnie Holliday pull up in his Escalade (with my mamma inside the car :D). i got out and told him to roll down his window. first of all i cannot even tell you guys how happy he was when i told him how proud i was of the defense and team. i let him know how far i traveled to come see the game, and he really appreciated it. WHAT A NICE GUY!! everyone go out and buy #91 jerseys because this guy is the definition of class.

I've always loved Vonnie Holliday. I'm like...The only UNC football fan I know. It just pumps me when our guys get into the NFL.

Vonnie's been giving some great, inspirational quotes the last few weeks. Seems like one of the true team leaders.
 
just to clarify a couple things HIS MOM WAS THERE. and it was at my condo, i see him here and there in the hallways...so its not like i stopped him off the street, it was in front of the lobby :)

How are you liking LB Robert Quinn so far? I got to see him play a few times against my old high school. VERY humble, stand up guy.
 
You should have thanked him for the stop on 4th and goal. He was the reason LT didnt get into the endzone... he completely shed his block and stood up LT
 
Vonnie has been given no credit. He should have gone to the Pro Bowl two years ago, but he was robbed because he is a no-name to most of the league.
 
Vonnie really is a class act. He's a lot like Kevin Carter ... who used to play for us a few years ago. An all around good guy. I bet his mother in law thinks he's great. He's a good guy for the national sports media to talk to after a game. He makes us look like ... well, a classy TEAM. I'm glad he got a nice contract last year. He deserves it. :up:
