I'm one of the biggest dolphins there is but I also know football and right now I think the best thing for us to do is to start from scratch. This is not a 1-2 year process of turning this thing around we're at least 4-5 years away. We need to get a lot younger on both sides of the ball esspecially defense. Saban's defense is too complicated to fully grasp in 1-2 years, thats why we keep seeing the mental lapses that lead to big plays, and our veteren players are accustomed to doing things a certain way and are trying to learn how to do it saban's way and I'm sure its a difficult process. The problem is The vets won't be here or be good long enough to fully grasp the system. We need to start trading some of our vets for some draft pics and get some fresh young players in here from college and free agency that have little to no NFL experience and no loyalties to any particular way to play defense that will come in and learn and soak up everything the coaches are trying to teach. If we do this, we can have these players in that same systems for 2-3 years and by the 3rd year they should know the system like the back of their hands. Thats why Travis Daniels was able to come in and start and be productive his rookie year, he was in the same system for 4 years in college. As much as i hate to say it, we need to seriously think about trading Zach and Jason Taylor only because they are 2 of the few vets that we could actually get something for. What do you guy's/girl's think????
