Obviously our biggest issues are Offensive line, Cornerbacks, and Linebackers. One thing I'm noticing is that we have been able to beat the teams who don't have a dominant D-line and who don't have an elite Wideout (Brent Grimes simply can't cover top talent anymore; especially, big framed wideouts). If you Notice our results, this is the trend I see. With this in mind, I think that we will struggle mightily against the Giants and ODB will torch our secondary, especially Brent Grimes. I think we lose, but I predict a close game. I then think we will beat the Chargers and Colts because I think we match up favorably with both teams. Even if the chargers had Keenan Allen, this is the type of receiver Grimes can still cover. The Patriots don't look like juggernauts anymore too. Gronk will pose a huge challenge and will probably have big numbers (since we always give up crazy numbers to tight ends historically). We just always seem to fight hard against the Pats in Miami, and I wouldn't be surprised if we won.

So here's my predictions with this in mind:

Giants - 23-17 loss
Chargers- 24-14 win
Colts- 20-13 win
Pats- 30-20 loss

Another trend...

Meanwhile, the Dolphins are 5-2 out of the division and 0-5 in it.

Explain why Dez asked for Grimes Jersey. I don't think his knee 100%. But a 70% Grimes is better than anybody else we put out there.

We lose because we cant stay on the field or get off the field on 3rd and anything.

We basically can't beat the teams that know our schemes better, i.e. division rivals. I'd say that's 50% coaching - 50% talent.

Being a finesse team in this division is not going to win you many games.

Our 0-5 division record is a result of Joe Philbin's imprint on this team. Plain and simple.

We can beat bad teams with struggling QB's, when officials help us, when receivers make spectacular plays to gain lots of yards after short catches, or when our defense can stop something.

So Giants L, Chargers L, Colts L, Pats L

We can't beat teams that are strong in the trenches. Full stop, end of story.

Elite D-lines destroy our O-line. The offense simply has no answer when the O-line is getting beat.

Conversely, elite O-lines don't dominate our D-line, but they do open up the game enough for opposing offenses to beat us in different ways, even if that's simply exposing our back 7. Look at the Dallas game. Our D-line didn't get handled or anything, in fact was quite effective against the league's best OL, but when it mattered most was unable to stop the run.

I think we have a shot at the first 3. The pats game, will depend on whether they sit their starters or not.....but if they do not, I just don't see it.

I just can't wait until we actually draft a stud Mike LB in the 1st or 2nd round. I am somewhat still mad about missing out on Perryman because, as I thought, he is a stud in SD, BUT Phillips was an extremely solid pick up instead, so I can live with it going forward.

We need a guy like him in the middle. A straight beast. I don't care if he is undersized, doesn't have elite speed, etc etc I just want to finally see a head hunting instinctive thoroughbred monster up the middle. A LB that RB, TE and slot guys fear. With respect to Dansby, Porter, Seau and Ellerbe we have not had a feared LB since Zach Thomas.

Dansby has been playing well since leaving us. Perhaps Ireland should have kept him around.

8-8 is this team's identity so it sounds right.

we're gonna go 7-7 and then have our hearts ripped out of us again

Getting to 7-7 doesn't mean **** unless the Jets, Chiefs, and Steelers fall to 7-7 as well.

Kansas City has nothing to do with us really as the 5th spot is too far out of reach.
The way I see it is.

Week 14 things we need to happen
Buffalo vs Philly- Would think McCoy goes off as part of a revenge game--Buffalo is 7-6

Pittsburgh vs Cincy- This one could go any other way im going to lean towards Cincy being able to destroy Pittsburgh--Pittsburgh is 7-6

NYJ vs Tennesee- Another game where I think that it is a toss up but i think the Jets can pull this one out---Jets 8-5

Obviously we need to win the rest of our games so by some miracle we win against the Giants we would be 6-7

Week 15
Buffalo vs Washington- I think the skins Could possibly pull up the upset with the game being at home--- Buffalo 7-7

NYJ vs Dallas- This will be the linchpin if we were to have any shot, If jets win this game its pretty much over for us. I think that Dallas could give it a game but i doubt it-Jets 9-5

Those games will mostly define our fate at least what ever slim hope we have. I dont want to hear "Why are you talking playoffs!" Its all in good fun so relax

Dez trades jerseys after every game. If play was the reasoning he would have swapped jerseys with Josh Norman who shut down Bryant against Carolina but he didn't.

Norman and Dez were jawing through the entire game so much Norman got a personal called on him. Norman then went on a five minute tirade in the locker room how he was disrespected. So he was not going to swap Jerseys with Dez even if he paid for it.
