I don't like our chances against the Jets this coming Sunday. I believe that even without Jenkins they will find a way to shut our running game down and that presents a huge problem. If Ginn is truly going to be playing less they will have no respect for our passing game and go all out for the run. Can someone please explain to me how our other snail like WR's are going to scare the Jets defense? Also, if Sanchez realizes Dustin Keller will be WIDE OPEN all day long in the middle of the field that will present another problem. Sorry to be doo & gloom, please tell me why I'm wrong. The Saints invited us to pass in tyhe 2nd half and we couldn't do it. How will we do it vs the Jets?
 
Cam and Hartline are far from "snails". All it takes is to run Ginn on a couple long routes down the field to force them to account for the speed. Ginn will see his playing time, and will open things up for the other guys.
 
We were doing fine when nobody was throwing the ball to Ginn anyway....point is moot.
 
We can win this game, but you won't hear me bragging, or calling out Jets fans that we will definitely win. Both of these teams have shown two opposite sides; who shows up on either team is a mystery til Sunday. It will definitely be a hostile environment up there. My only hope is the Jets "make Henne look like Dan Marino" again. :lol:
 
or maybe it will be cold and windy...we know sanchez doesn't like that...or at least that was the excuse everyone was using before....
 
I LOVE our chances. We are the better team!

100% agree. This game scares me. I honestly had more confidence that we'd beat the saints. I think I lack confidence about this game because of the collapse this last Sunday.

Hmm well we've put up 30+ in all 3 games Henne has started and we passed really well against them last time. I expect the Dolphins to win this game. If we can't beat the Jets we're in trouble. We've been right there with arguably the 2 best teams in the league so I think we can handle an over-rated Jets team.
 
I expect the Jets to try to emulate the Saints nine in the box alignment. I would force Henne to show he can rebound.

so the Jets beat up a team that doesnt even know it is playing a game and we lose to the best team in the league and we suck now?

Its like you play the game or something.

It easier for us to block the 3-4 than the 4-3 IMO. With Jenkins out, as long as our Oline works it like last time, I dont care if they bring everyone.

Henning will burn it. Just as long as Ginn is not playing.
 
This is going to be a long hard season. I said before the season that we would compete in every game, but probably go 7-9. So far, that has been playing out. This is not the year boys...this is a "growing" year. Next year we go to the playoffs...

Hartline was an all state sprinter in high school, he has decent speed. Cam is faster than a snail but slower than a turtle, but equally as crafty as said turtle
 
Im amazed that so many people still dont realize we are far superior to the Jets.

We beat them, then lose off total bs to probably the best team in the league while they blow out the Faiders and all of the sudden they are way better than us again. Just like they were last time huh. Get ****ing real.

Were going to cram the ball right down the Jets ****ing throats just like last time. And if the weather is not perfect at all that just favors Henne over that scrub they have out there. No Jenkins either. Come on man. Phins coast in this one. Run the ball and force turnovers on Sanchez. Long day for the Jests.
