Hey Flip, I have been on the "bench Culpepper" bandwagon with you for quite a while, but you have to be honest about Joey. He's played OK, but he's still having the same problems he had in Detroit, avoiding costly turnovers and getting the W's. Til he does that, he's not going to get much respect.

And you felt the need to start a thread to state this?

:smackhead :hmmm:

the 2 that "were'nt his fault" were still bad throws anyway... the one to CC wasn't as bad a throw tho that was easily catchable, the one to Wes was clearly behind him and a tough catch to make.

He hasnt lost any fumbles or anything tho he's been decent IMO... I'm excited to see what he can do the following weeks but I'm even more anxious to see Cpep back.

I agree JH has been decent, and the picks were all bad throws except for the Chambers pick. That's 3 picks that are his fault in 2 games. That's what killed JH in Detroit. Hopefully he can change that. I don't know why you would be excited to see Cpep back, he was horrible.

My belief is always a INT is always the QB's fault.. No aruging that. Good QB's don't throw many INT's bad ones do.

I haven't seen all the games so, I can't comment.

However, I must concur that JH gives us the best chance to win.

It's a win/win if he wins.

We can't risk ending DC's career for this collection of schlubs on the OL.

JH is more expendible than DC at this point as well.

Always is almost always incorrect.

I agree, that MOST of the picks are the QB's fault, but not all of them are.

If the QB hits the receiver in stride, right in the hands, with a perfect spiral and the perfect velocity, and the WR tries to run first, but instead pops the ball into the air, and it's picked off, how is that the QB's fault?

So a QB throws a ball that hits a reciever in the hands, right where a reciever wants it, at the speed he wants it, and, the WR has a lapse of concentration and the ball carams into the air, then, is picked off, it's the QBs fault?

Dude. Re-think that position.

That's a good question. I asked a very similar one. I'm waiting for the response.......

Joey as been decent for us..but he threw 4 picks....the only thing that Joey is still doing every week is throwing off his back foot like he did in detriot..other than that, hes been ok

hes in the same bracket as pep though..we arent scoring points early

You want an answer then I'll just say it is the QB's fault for even throwing to that specific WR in the first place. But of course in that situation it's not the QB's fault, but people are acting like none of Joey's 4 INT's are his fault. He's had a Interception promblem his whole carrer.

Well, OK, you are going to stick with your assertion that ALL picks are the QB's fault then there is no changing your mind. It's not true, but that's fine if you believe that. I do agree with you that Joey has had an INT problem his whole career. I also agree that 3 of the 4 INT's were his fault. My biggest complaint is that he hasn't scored more points than CP and we haven't won any more games. That falls a lot on the QB also.

GO PHINS~!
