I was just sitting here thinking about the 09 season and how stacked we are at almost every position except WR, this is just my opinion but i dont think parcells is going to go into the season with ginn, cam, bess and turner as your top wr's although i love the guys we have they are great but guys we are really close to being a contender. With plax out there along with some other wr's i see us bringing in someone to compete with camarillo just in case he is not fully recovered. lets just say that cam is not 100% buy the start of the season can ginn, bess and a rookie make our wr's better than they were last year? thoughts?

After Cam went down, Ginn and Bess WERE our wr's....so adding anyone will make them better. I don;t think barring injury there is any way we add another. Ginn, bess, Hartline and Turner are locks for the roster. Cam is if healthy. I don't think theres any way were carry more than 6. With a healthy Cam, which I suspect he will be by preseason theres 5...don't see it happening.

I think Ginn will be much more involved in this years offense. They need to find more ways to utilize his skills, and I'm sure they will. Also, Sparano said this is the WR core they will go with at the beginning of the season unless something drastic happens around the league.

yeah i guess we have to keep ginn, bess, hartline, turner, but if cam struggles he could go in pup and we could sign someone

Don't think so...Parcells never really cared for big time WRs and that didn't change even in Dallas. He didnt have any stars on the Giants and won the SB which probably means he thinks he can do it again.

Im pretty sure Ernest Wilford was the Big F.a. Wide Receiver Acquisition last year.. who do we need other than wilford?? He's going to be amazing this year... hes slow like jerry rice hes as tall as Randy moss and hes got the hands of Terrell owens lets not even Bring up his Amazing work ethic! plus he can play TE

You mean like Keyshawn who he drafted with the Jets?

Parcells also used 33 year old Otis Anderson with the Giants in that SB run. I don't see that happening here.

Parcells doesn't like divas. Boldin isn't a diva.

Personally I believe the Trifecta is hoping that Patrick Turner is going to turn into the next Keyshawn. If you look at Turners highlights they seem like possesion type plays. Before Moss, The Pats were winning with possession receivers.

Sure the home run threat is sure sexy to have, but every team dinks and dunks before unleashing it. The elemtent of surprise is what makes it work. If Brady threw to Moss deep every play their completion percentage would be nill.

Ginn has to show he's legit. Turner is this regeme's baby.. as with Bess. Cam was a surprise last year.. let's see how we'll develop. There's still London and Armstrong who'll get good looks..

I doubt we pick up anyone in WR.. and I hope from here on out we only draft our talent. And trade.. AWAY underachieving, and aging talent... for draft picks.

I don't think there's any way Parcells and company part with what it would take for Boldin. One thing to consider is: would he do as well without Fitzgerald on the other side? I don't think that he would. Being a SB contender last year they would be asking too much. I think if Parcells was on the verge, maybe one good WR away from going to the dance he would consider it. Maybe we show this year that we ARe that close, but we didn't last year.

Go to NFL.com and check the stats. He did better than any WR on our team presently, not only WITHOUT Fitz, but WITHOUT Warner.

Jeff Blake. Remember him? That world beater? Rookie year, WITHOUT Fitz, WITHOUT Warner..WITH Blake, he came in and produced 101 receptions for 1377 yards and 8 TDs.

The argument could more accurately be made; What has Fitzgerald ever done without BOLDIN by his side?

I've said it before and I'll say it again..I think people in Miami are just scared of having a WR that doesn't need excuses and just goes out and kicks *** regardless of circumstance.
