The NY Ryan is having a little trouble with team motivation. I don't think the Dallas Ryan has enough "star power" for Ross (hopefully). He also has no HC pedigree so I don't think he's a quality candidate. Besides, 2 Ryan's 2 much for this division.
The comment about Buddy was to dispute the bloodline theory that because Rob is a Ryan he automatically going to be a successful Head Coach.
I am not saying you are "done" at 2-3 I am saying that you are not doing well this year so far. Are you honestly going to tell me you didn't think you would be better than that? Come on NYJunc...And no doubt, I agree 100% that Rex the Footman Ryan has done way better the last two years than we have. A great job of taking solid talent and getting them to believe ins winning and building a good defense. But in the end...the Jets have as many rings the last two years as we do. I wish we were in the hunt like you guys have been, but at this point bloated Rex has not delivered any of the titles he guarantees every year and this year is looking rough...they are not playing well and the locker room is getting torn apart. Looking at that, its no reason to hire his brother to me just because they came from the same family.

How about he has no coaching pedigree. They guy has not had success at ANY level in the NFL yet. Being a loud mouth doesn't make you smart...just loud.

As I mentioned in the parallel thread, I hear Rob Ryan on a weekly basis here in Dallas (They are going away from interviewing him more and more all the time). Loud Mouth is accurate, but smart and Rob Ryan should NEVER be used in the same sentence.
He has a somewhat defensive mind. He has LOTS of talent here in Dallas, so the scale will still be hazy as to how good a DC he is. He is EXTREMELY abrasive, and well, definitely not very eloquent.
I expected 3-2, I thought we'd lose 2 of 3 on that near impossible 3 game road swing, we are 2-3.
I wouldn't hire Rob solely b/c of his brother's success but I'd give Rob a chance. He hasn't had the talent to work w/ on D which is why he hasn't had the success Rex has had but I think Rob is a good coach and can make a good HC. The dolphins organization needs an attitude adjustment, Rob would provide that.

Too risky playing Ryan Family Russian Rouellete this late in the game. From what's surely an incestuous, tainted bloodline, the odds of at least one cretin living up to those expectations are pretty overwhelming. Just say Ixnay to atfay ardotay!
