However there is a small part of me that is worried he may not get 1,000 yards rushing with Ricky in the backfield with him. Also, we can't be playing from behind like we did against the Bills. Anybody else worried he may not get the 189 yards rushing in the final four games?

if ronnie cant get 189 yards in 4 games, thats terrible. thats less that 50 yards a game he needs to get to 189 yards, he'll get it.

I think that Nick will realize that he is close to breaking the 1,000 yrd mark and hand him the ball more then 10 times a game... It would be a horrible way to finish the year with him not getting the 1000 yards. RUN RONNIE RUN!!!!

Ronnie is great and is going to be even better. But i like the fact that we have Ricky, there have been plenty of teams who have had 2 running backs and they both got 1000 yds rushing.

no idea about the Bonus for 1,000 yards, but we do have a Tiny problem with that, Saban is going to start letting Ricky get more carries, because Ronnie being a rookie, the college year would be over by now(except for the bowl games) but he'd be at a "winding down" point right now so he's gonna start getting tired, next year, he'll know how the NFL works and will be ready, but for now Ronnie will start getting a little tired, which means Ricky's gonna be working extra hard so...

I have faith, I am just worried that he might not get enough carries to get it.

Also, he gets no bonus for reaching 1000 yards. He got a $500,000 bonus for getting 750 rushing yards, but his next level would have been 1350 rushing yards. He won't get that, but if he would have, that would have been a $2 million bonus. :eek: Good thing he won't get that and decrease our 2006 cap.

I noticed it earlier today. I was looking to see if Chambers had actually made it to 1,000 based off his rushing stats as well and happened to see Ronnie had. Congrats to Ronnie for his accomplishment and beyond. I have a feeling that he and Ricky may combine for 1,500 yards rushing and 500 receiving. Not a bad little combo if you ask me.

If Ronnie was the lone back, I might buy into this. Of course even at Auburn he wasnt carrying the entire load, but he has not carried 1/2 of what a serviceable back will carry in the NFL (176 carries for 811 yards to date). Heck I think Ricky was carrying, what 300+ carries when Pornstache was here.
