I think everyone is being a little over dramatic

I don't care who we lose. Why shouldn't we start to beat the team that other team's are making excuses for losing to? The real contenders in this league don't have to console themselves after two games because while they may have played a bad game in one, they won't let themselves be caught losing twice. That's what I want my Dolphins to be; not a team hoping to be just good enough, but a real contender.

A team even close to that would have produced a lot more against the Texans.

I'd be surprised if the team wins more than a handful of games this year and I think even the most hopeful of us can agree that a playoff run is out of the question. And a playoff contender really is what it needed to be. To justify this painful process of the last several years and the overall direction of the team. It can't be less than that to be considered a success. So if not that, what's to salvage? I expect the fans who really believed in the moves the team made this year wanted to see them come out and immediately show the critics were wrong. Instead the critics haven't been proven wrong. Far from it. After what we saw the end of last year, to start off 0-2 at home. With everyone else in our division at 2-0 is it really in any way realistic to think everything will suddenly magically click and defy almost impossible odds? I don't think so. I think it's pretty ridiculous to keep blindly believing in a regime that doesnt deserve it.

Not according to the drama queens.

Seriously, I don't know about some of these guys. It's non-stop whining. It's only a game and the Dolphins aren't paying your bills. Time to get laid or something. When your emotional stability is effected by wins and losses and your agenda in life is to suck for luck and get a new coach it's time to do some serious self reflection 'cus you've got some issues.

Sincerely,

Dr. Phil

I do not think thousands of fans seeing the same problems and speaking out about it is over dramatic.
The staff is tripping over themselves in one way or another every week.
As hard as it is to swallow, the pundits on TV are right when they make fun of this team and organization.
The fans are now seeing that all the ridicule is deserved and are lashing out.
It won't have any effect on the team and staff because they are so full of themselves, but maybe Ross or his minions read FH to gauge fan interest and concern. If I was the owner, I know I would.
Yea, we git beat by a great team, and a good team at home. It happens. The problem is the lack of effort, planning, and bizarre player decisions. All of this points to bad decision making. The team performance is a reflection of it's staff. The performance sucks.

It's very much over dramatic. I am not happy either but it's ridiculous how insane some people here are getting. We do something good and there are 10 threads started on how it wasn't that good or to point out something bad. It's always the same people too. EVERYTHING

What's the big deal? Who needs to beat the big teams? When we can wallow around in the lower third of the league and fist pump field goals! FINS UP!

Perhaps those people are passionate about their team and want improvement compared to those who except mediocrity and are indifferent.

I get that we are 0-2 and that we have not won a damn home game since the ice age. Trust me, I hate it just as much or more than anyone else.....but people are still way over reacting. I still fully believe that we can be above 500. We lost to the best team in history in week 1. Yeah it sucks but they are the ****ing Patriots. These are the same Patriots that crush everyone and win 14 games a season. Then we lost to Houston who I think is clearly gonna be really nice this year. Yes our head coach has pasta where his brain should be. I like his enthusiasm but he has shown me enough to not support him. I still think we are gonna kick Clevelands arse this weekend. I have been one of Henne's biggest critics, but he has taken some positive steps forward. Is he gonna be a franchise QB....I doubt it but he has shown improvement. Daniel Thomas looked like a stud last week and I think he and Reggie are gonna run all over Cleveland. I think our D is gonna be the D we know they are this week. I look for Henne to play pretty well again. Remember the lockout hurt the Fins more than most teams because we were implementing a whole new offense. WE ARE NOT A 1, 2, 3, 4, OR 5 WIN TEAM. We just have to many good players for that. It is my belief that if we had a good coach we would make the playoffs this year. We clearly don't have that but we still have a pretty solid foundation of a team. If a couple of things go our way ( odds say they will ) We are gonna start rolling. I have always been somewhere in the middle during all of the hater/homer comments. I have never really been called out for being either. I'm just saying that there are a lot of things that could be better with our Fins and it's not great right now for sure....but it's not nearly as bad as some people think.

How can anyone argue with that argument? You convinced me...all is well!

P.S. (New England is far from the best team ever)

Fins to the left Fins to the right....... :bobdole:

Yes, because I am not passionate when I point out something good and don't bash every little mistake. That's absurd my friend....indifferent? I still put on my Marino jersey before kick off for EVERY game! Don't talk to me about indifference, I am as passionate about this team as anyone. Passion does NOT = Pessimism......

People on here fail to realize that no team has an All Pro at every position and complete on offense and defense. Just look at he Packers...they have given up almost 1,000 yards on defense in two games! We have a lot of the important pieces in place, it's not like we don't have any studs (Bush, Marshall, Long, Wake, Dansby) and a lot of consistent performers (Bess, Starks, Taylor, Bell) and a few solid players (Henne, Thomas, Fasano, Carey, Solai, Burnett, and Davis).

The Packers have one at the quarterback position.... that's all that matters.

Just like all the rest of the teams that will be competing for the Lombardi Trophy.

They have a head coach that isn't over his head, just like every other team that will be competing for the Lombardi Trophy.

The Packers organization GETS IT, just like all the rest of the organizations that will be competing for the Lombardi Trophy.

All those players you just listed off Miami's roster are just names that mean nothing to anyone besides Dolphin fans.... not important pieces. None of them ever really do anything except get owned by whoever lines up across from them every week...

The "important pieces" are missing.... head coach, GM, and quarterback.

It's really refreshing to see that not EVERYONE on this board is a knee jerking short bus passenger

I agree that everyone is being way too dramatic. I mean is only been 38 years since we won the superbowl. That's not too long of a wait. And keep on mind that we went to the superbowl a mere 27 years ago. Doesn't that seems like only yesterday. Nobody should be complaining about this team for being down 0 and 2 and for losing 11 of the last 12 at home....we were close on some of those games and besides, all those teams we lost to were better than us.Come to think of, we need to stop blaming our FO and HC and start blaming the NFL for making us play all those teams that are better than us. That's the real problem with our team. How can we expect to win any games when we have to play teams that are better than ours? That's just not fair. How about the draft. We only get 7 picks every year while NE gets 13. How can that happen?

p.s.Give me a ****ing break!!

Ozzy rules!!

We have all those great players and 0 wins to show for it.
