Tannehill plays not to lose rather than play to win the game. He will be a coach killer if he continues to play this way.
I think I know what the main offense issue is.

As much as I think RT is not the QB of the future, you have to give him props for dropping a shoulder during that 4th quarter scramble.. Better QB's wouldnt have showed that much determination...

I think the most frustrating thing about this team is how hard it is to pinpoint the issue. There's something very wrong with the very foundations of this organization. Really feels like we're gonna have to get lucky and land some generational type QB or coach to fix this thing.

Tannehill is the only stable piece we've had the last few years, and we continue to have the same results.....
Boy, he sure could use some stable pieces around him, couldn't he?
Everything makes so much more sense now.
What foundation?
When Gase let Tannehill get involved with play calling in week 1 the team played to win. You could see it again in the second half today when Tannehill was leading the drives.

Right?! So many years wasted with a fantastic running game and a great defense, if only we had the right QB.

The problem is Tannehill isn't good when the game is tight and there's pressure. When he's up or down by 3+ scores he's money.

As I said, it's maddeningly difficult to figure out with any certainty. But I assume it's somewhere high up the chain as far as the teams decision makers go.
