Dolphins message boards for about three years of my life, several seasons back. I just can't handle comments like "How could we take a cornerback in the FOURTH ROUND, when we NEEDED a quarterback or a reciever." I just hate refuting these arguments, knowing I am right and that anyone who actually understands the game understands the situation, but still these people constantly pop up and it just gets frustrating beyond belief. I AM GOING TO DO IT ONE MORE TIME.

You don't really like to draft for need anywhere, but ESPECIALLY not in the 4th round. You are going to take a guy EXPECTING him to fill a need for you? Oh year, we need that young potentially franchise quarterback, well I guess we don't have this guy rated anywhere near Daniels but let's take him because we need that quarterback. This WR probably won't make the team because he doesn't have the ability and Daniels might even be able to push for a starting job at FS, but we need to take a WR because we need that position. WOW.
 
Don't let it stress you. It's unavoidable. You can't change everybody and the more rational people respect what you have to say anyway, and that's really all that counts, right?
 
dude, just ignore the peolple who don't know what they re talking about and just listen to Boomer, Crunchtime and those that do. No reason to miss out on the good stuff on here just over a few uneducated folks. :wink:
 
i feel ya bo! i very rarely post here, instead i spend a lot of time digging through "hot air" posts to read actual informative posts. it blows my mind that some of the people on this board think they know better than hc's, gm's, and scouts...and then they have the nerve to dog out boomer and kb, whose posts are very informative and have a lot of blood, sweat, and time in them.
seriously...some of the people here just blow my mind (they are the minority), sometimes so much that i think they posted what they do just to mess with people, and that they really don't believe that crap themselves.
sorry...had to vent.

That is not a bad guess. Not at all. Sometimes it's even glaringly obvious but, there are always suckers who fall right into the trap.

my favorite are those guys who are pissed with ANYone picked who isn't adrian mcpherson. saban picks ANY other person and they feel like the dolphin organization persoanlly stabbed them in the backs.

its sad really.

and to think they were saying we HAD to get him in teh 2nd round cause he'd be gone by the third :lol: :) :lol:

It's all BS!!!!!

The apologists don't know if the pick is the right one any more than the critics know that it's the wrong selection. If Daniels doesn't make the roster or is a backup for a few years before being released, then the critics will have been right.

No one really knows, but we'll find out soon enough. Nothing wrong with being critical over some selections. We have a lot of ways we could go in this thing and there's not any one right answer to filling our needs.

It's one thing to be critical, it's WHAT your criticizing and WHY is what makes it valid, IMO.
 
Boy, thread of long time goners - Hey Bo and DWB!

And Bo, you just have to realize it's futile because you can spend 30 minutes typing up a sound refuation to some of this stuff, citing sources, and you can be sure within a few hours at most, some other nitwit will come up with the damned near identical comment, or a very close variant upon it.

As I've said before; it's as effective and productive as swatting gnats with a pencil.
 
This is a public message board where people can post what they want. I get just as annoyed as anyone else when I see the "Move Chambers to safety" threads, but the downside of a public message board. The upsides of this board far outweigh the downsides.

Boycotting finheaven has never even crossed my mind. Greatest page on the internet.
