In 2 games, Harrington has been sacked ONCE if I recall correctly. Does anyone honestly think that Daunte would have been sacked the same amount during the same stretch?

It's possible, because the line looked really good against the Jets. And Joey has thrown one more interception in half as many games. What do you think about that?

No, I think he would have been sacked more often. However, it wouldn't have been 4 or 5 times during one game since the play of our o-line improved.

Joey is playing much better then Daunte, bottom line. His interception yesterday that Chambers dropped wasnt his fault. At least he is moving us down the field. Daunte is a has been

yeah but the other int joey threw was all on joey. ronnie brown was wide opean underneath and joey decides to throw into double coverage down the field

Here we go again, Culpepper isn't even playing and people here can't resist bashing him as if it's his fault we're losing.

As for the sacks... folks, did you ever stop and consider that our game plans now call for getting rid of the ball ASAP to prevent Harrington from getting sacked the way Culpepper did? Yeah, Culpepper held on to the ball too long in a few notable instances, but saying all 21 sacks were his fault is inane. Maybe five of them were his fault.

charley casserly in his pre-game segment, showed the differences in c-pep and harrington... he still believes that culpepper holds onto the ball too long resulting in sacks... he says it's daunte's decision and reading ability that cause him to hold the ball ... and that harrington shows at this time better decision making ability... getting rid of the ball more quickly ... he doesn't hesitate like c-pep does... but as dolfans we know that there have been numerous breakdowns as well... everyone from the skill position players to the o-line haven't helped the sack situation... it isn't all daunte's fault

Charley Casserly, eh? I don't think a guy who passed on Reggie Bush is in any position to criticize anyone for their ability to analyze anything.

I agree with this statement. But keeping Culppeper in the first 4 games was wrong. No one to blame but the coach. If they really did thier job they would have seen, looking at the tapes that Dante was not planting his foot when he threw and more often than not he was trying to place the ball in the recievers hands instead of just letting it rip like he used to do in Minn. I'm praying that when Dante comes back he will be alot more mobile on the field and if he is then other teams will really have to watch out.

I agree with you 100%. Unfortunately there is no way to prove it, so the Harrington haters/ Culpepper protectors are going to automatically say the line has just coincedentally improved 100%. To them, it has nothing to do with the fact that HArrington makes quicker, better decisions with the ball and doesn't double clutch and put himself in position to get sacked. Don't you know Culpepper is the MAN!?

i still believe in c-pep!!! but unfortunately the coaching staff DROPPED the ball on this one... when harrington was aquired .. it was said he'd start until culpepper was healthy.. daunte hadn't shown he's anywhere near ready ... but the caoching staff still went ahead and started him...

its cause teams dont blitz joey harrington...he scrambles and throws short to intermediate routes. daunte throws the longball

Daunte never threw the long ball this season. Have you watched any of the games? He was being critized for only throwing short passes remember?
