relate is the fact that I look around the league and watch other games and even the so called "bad teams" seem to make plays that we can never do. When was the last time you saw us run back a kick or a punt for more than 10 yards? When was the last time a dolphins wideout had beat his man and took a 40+ yard pass to the house? The last time you saw a dolphins running back tear through the line and juke a defender and take it to the house? Sadly enough the best play this year off the top of my head was the pass Henne made to Daniel Thomas on the screen that he took to the house with lineman who actually paved the way.

My wife is a diehard Steelers fan and my lone 2nd tolerable team from my childhood, the lions, (was born in Michigan) are actually "fun" to watch. Today's game against the cowboys was something that Miami WISHES they could reproduce.

I love the phins. I have had sunday ticket since it's inception and always want to believe but, and I NEVER thought I would say this, I actually am starting to enjoy football but NOT through Miami but rather watching other teams play. Something I have NEVER done in the past.

Oh well, at least my Wolverines are 5-0 and Robinson is fun to watch...as well as watching Sanchez get nailed and Ed Reed taking it to the house or Matt Ryan and the Falcons struggling..

I actually have to agree. Watching other teams on the Redzone channel, it is completely insane how far away the Dolphins are from anything resembling an NFL-caliber offense.

I realized this today as I watched incredibly awful QB Tavaris Jackson light up the Falcons on several plays, with only a missed QB at the end of the game losing it for the Seahawks. When you envy a team that has Tavaris Jackson, things are BAAAAAD.

Marshall doesn't suck, he's tanking on purpose so the Fins will get a real QB to throw to him. Lets not forget what a Diva Brandon is.

that is what i am talking about. got to get rid of tankers. no good. marshall no good. his ex-wife soon to be will tell you that.

The guy hasn't remotely lived up to his payday. I mean if you are coming to Miami, a team that NEEDED that number one wideout forever and you accept that role, then buck up and earn your pay check. You can't start actually putting for effort only when the team is winning. That is Randy Moss type ****...

well i think we actually had some guy on our roster that was pretty good at taking back returns for TOUCHDOWNS. but wtf would u want to keep him when your goal is to kick field goals anyways?

I like it. People would be sorry real quick of we traded away Marsh. Knowing the Dolphins they'd trade him to the Patriots for a 2nd.

Why? Brian Hartline supposedly is awesome and this Gates guy has lots of speed...well I am told he does...

Absolutely Man.. I watch a lot of games every week at the bar and even no-name, second tier players around the league are stepping up and making big plays in every game..

I feel the same way. I think I complain every week to my bro about the same thing. Watch other teams around the league, even some of the bad teams and they have someone making a play. We literally have no one making big plays. Its dink and dunk followed by a short TD pass, 1 yard TD run or a bunch of FGs. No long TD passes. No pick 6's. No big hits/sack + fumble. Nothing. No one is making big plays. Its the same crap every game and every year (other than 2008) going back like 6-7 years now. So frustrating. Great post by the OP.

At least Chris Chambers snagged a pass once in a while...

I agree with the OP, This team is void of big plays all around...We have what 2 ints? 1 or 2 FF and no recoveries? All we seem to do is run ****ing short hitches and deep comeback routes? No crossing routes..Nothing downfield..We just dont mix it up ever..I know Henne is bad but Matt Moore was way ****ing worse...Great signing that was...
