I think we are charmed....(finally)

Yes. That 2nd pick carried a certain value, and if that value isn't met, you don't trade the pick. As someone mentioned above, if he takes less than value for that pick, then he's labeled for life as a guy who will trade for less than value. Teams now know that to deal with Miami, they will get a very quick no if they try to low ball us on a deal.

Fair enough. I'm not gonna dwell on the fact we didn't trade down. I thought we had a great draft and I'm happy we picked Brown. Who knows if anything was even offered to us.

Yes. As far as comp picks go, I believe we have signed more than we let go so we shouldn't end up with any of those.

Wanny in Pittsburgh and Rick demoted to coffee boy = Full board of draft picks next year.:D

I think we have 8 draft picks next year. A 7th rounder from green bay.

Where'd it come from? I think I remember some sort of funky conditional trade, but I can't remember anything about it. I'm probably trying to remember too hard and my mind is playing tricks on me geto boyz style.

If Brown is the future Ricky, Roth is JT, and Crowder is Zach, then this draft was a coup no matter what happens. We'll have three pro-bowlers and two franchise players from one draft. And the scary thought is, THAT'S POSSIBLE.

I was for trading them an o-line men named Brad Bedell.

Here is something on that trade: http://www.packers.com/news/releases/2003/08/25/2/

I have no idea whether the condition was met, though. I know he isn't on the roster right now. Anybody have an idea on this?

He was on their roster last season and they recently re-signed him. So it should've been met.

Oops, I just read the article, it was Brad Beddel OL that was the trade.

Sure about that? I dunno I do not see anything special in the Cleveland backfield where the weather is cold and wet and a team just needs a power back with speed.

Did you forget? They picked up Rueben Droughns......He is their feature back.

 Your right Phunwin, And nobody on this board knows what was on the table!!!

Section, you need to try better, you have been going downhill lately!

I HOPE....that we are not going to blindly kiss Saban's azz.....

My points are valid....and well founded.....

I still give our Draft high marks......we just missed on a few opportunities...that's all.

Rueben Droughns is not their feature back or their best baclk. That'd be lee suggs. Everyone, even scrubs like Olandis Gary gets 1000 in shannys zone blocking scheme
