Dolphins like their tight ends and we have two good tight ends in my opinion. Fasano is awesome and Martin is hated on a little too much on this site. Haynos and Nalbone both kinda blow and I think we grab a waiver wire TE. We can put Nalbone on the PS, doubt he gets picked up by anyone but he's a project and will need a couple of years to groom. Leonard Pope would be a nice addition as a 3rd TE. He's 6'8 265. Nice size for a blocking TE.

others peoples trash is not always someone else's treasure. i like what we have.

Sorry to be crude, but Pope is a bigger ***** than Haynos. The guys in AZ who made the team ahead of him this year stink as well.

Forget about Pope. He ain't no football player and doesn't belong in a Dolphins uniform.

We need a TE who can kick some tail on ST's. A tough guy!

If Miami grabs a TE from the waiver wire it has to be one that can block. Leonard Pope was released today, but the guy sucks at blocking and was a huge bust.

As for Nalbone alot are saying he has looked real good in camp and can seriously block. I have no problem with Nalbone making the roster and developing. Now Miami also really likes Haynos so we will see what happens.

I agree. Neither Nalbone or Haynos has impressed, though I can't say I ever saw Haynos used as a receiver in the preseason...I can say I saw Nalbone drop a couple...

He's basically a black Joey Haynos that has better receiver skills. I would at least take a look at him, great red zone presence. In fact, I bet somebody ahead of us snags him off waivers

Panadarilla 72 Joey is regarded as a good blocker and well liked by this organization. Again, I cant see Leonard Pope signing with how poor a blocker he is.

BTW guys Demarcus ***gins was looked at by Miami during the offseason and is now a FA. Don't see Miami signing him especially with how good Smith & Davis have looked.

Pope is bad. He can't block to save his life. Seen him a lot here in AZ. There is a reason he was let go. I think the coaches like Nalbone and he will be our third TE.

At 6-8 it's gotta be hard for him to get down against shorter players on blocks. How are his hands. I gotta admit Ive heard the name but know nothing about him. http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/players/7821

Now that Ive looked, what was his deal last year? if he's being cut I doubt the deals been fixed. JMO

The problem with Pope is, he is NOT a very good blocker and has underachieved as a receiver since coming into the league as well. He's been a big disappointment and that is why he was cut.
