I can't help but wonder what would have happened in the GB and Detroit games if we had Moreno playing. He brought an attitude to this team we didn't have last year. In the NE game he made sure we would not lose that game. I'm not down on Miller. He's done a nice job with good stats but stats don't tell the whole story. You need guys that will make plays when they need to be made. We have too many players that are waiting for someone else to make that play. Moreno seems like the kind of player that would make the play himself. He pumped up the whole team. You need real play markers to win those close games. I wonder how many people on here were blinded by Miller playing well and kind of forgot what we had with Moreno. We needed one 1st down in that GB game to iced the game. Our chances would have been much better with him in there. Could he had been the difference between 5 and 4 or 7 and 2? We'll never know of course but man I wish we would have had the chance to find out.

Moreno gave us that power back we currently don't have. He is the guy that can get 1 or 2 yards, move the pile, etc. Miller needs a hole to slice through, Thomas has some power but is not at the level Moreno is. Williams - it's too early to tell. So when we come up to 3rd and 1 or 4th and 1, we don't have the smash mouth o-line and RB to get that one yard. We have to finesse our way or use trickery. The loss of Moreno is huge, and IMO comparable to losing Albert.

Tough to tell.

My gut agrees with you, but my head says otherwise.

He looked unreal in that NE game, but we really only have that one game to go on.

Unfortunately we will never know if he would have performed as well in the games he missed, or the 7 carries he had against Buffalo and GB.

Luckily Miller has stepped up in his absence (Finally!)

And he played great ball in Denver last season. He's not a top-tier back, but he's VERY solid, and he'll get you tough yards. It's hard to win in the NFL if you don't have a RB who can churn out tough yards. Our running game without Moreno is all smoke and mirrors, and that lowers the ceiling for this team.

Like I said, it's not just the yards but the attitude that can make a difference. The oline see a guy playing like that and it makes everyone try that much harder. We don't have that now.

Still can't get over the fact he didn't start the Buffalo game. Then right when Moreno got in he gets hurt. Everything could have been different, you never know.

Hard to not be a fan of him. Moreno certainly seemed to light a fire in Miller. I do think you could figure one of our loses as a win if he were in. I really hope the Dolphins look to build a "Jumbo" package in the off-season. I like so many parts of this team but they really aren't built well for playing inside the ten.

How do you miss someone you only had for 1 game?

Thats like saying the 49ers miss Marcus Lattimore.

We all know it was 1 game. But we're projecting what he'd have probably being able to do based on how he played that game and what he had done in Denver too.

You may be right but he's not available, so we have to deal with it. I give high marks to Damien Williams for his contribution. When given the opportunity he showed he belongs in the NFL. Knowshon is a unique individual but maybe he has helped some of his teammates.

It doesn't work that way though.

Aarron Rodgers only had 180 yards and an INT in his first game. If we project on that game he's going to have a terrible season. Yet, here he is with 2400 yards and 25 TD's.

On the flip side, Chris Ivory ran for over 100 yards and 10ypc with a TD in his first game. Yet, here he is with only 500 yards...

Had Adrian Petersen not been suspended and Calvin Johnson played the whole game against the Bills they would probably be 3-6 right now. Unfortunately injuries and other things happen and teams have to deal. No looking back now.

Ok, I know what's done is done and we can't change it. Just saying we need that kind of attitude in this team. We need guys that will just take over a game and will us to a wins in a consistent basis, specially when the game is on the line. Nothing we can do about this season.
