I seriously think we will be 3-2 at the bye week. I think we match up well against the Bolts, Bills, and Jets. I think the Jets are overated because they beat a Patriot team that is solid, but not what they use to be.
 
I think we'll be lucky to be 1 - 4. I don't even think the Bills game is a gimme at this point.
 
None of them are gimmes. The Bolts have been unimpressive, the Bills are the Bills, and I think we go in with a chip on our shoulder to the Jets with the Ryan comments.
 
I hope you're right, but I just don't see how we beat the Bolts, Pats, or Jets.

I think the Colts are better than all 3 of those teams, we dominated the Colts everywhere except the scoreboard.
 
i'd say 2-3 if we play good... if we don't, i could see this thing turning out to 0-5 or 1-4, depending on how the last 5 minutes end... :( ... we've won/lost a fair amount of games in that 5 minute stretch in the last 3 seasons, this year we just lost our first one
 
1-4.

2-3 if the Dolphins get all the breaks imaginable. And if they play really inspired on defense (which hasn't happened yet). And if they have a much better defensive gameplan and not that vanilla crap (which hasn't happoened yet)

And then of course, Drew Brees and the Saints are going to beat us down like a little Biatch after the BYE.

This will be a losing season. The Dolphins have more holes than fans want to admit, and that schedule is nasty.
 
i doubt it.

Chargers - explosive team although theyre having problems with their oline

Bills - their no huddle offense will give our defense some problems

Jets - so far their defense shut down the texans and patriots. Thats impressive. Dont forget rex ryan also knows how to stop the wildcat and pennington.

i hope the dolphins prove me wrong tho.

I think we have a chance but i can't say 3-2 until after i see how we play against the bolts. IF we play well in that game and the offense plays as well as it did against the colts, and the defense steps it up then we could do it, but if we win with a poor performance then we will prolly end at 2-3.
 
Imagine our defense going up against the Charges or the Saints, LOL

oh man. i'm just going to sit here and laugh instead of get angry right now.
 
I hate to admit this but the jets look like a very good up and coming team. Their achilles heal is going to be sanchez and if teams start to get to him. Their running game with jones should be solid and they have serviceable receivers.
 
The key to beating rex ryans defense is in screen passes and slants....none of which are our strong suits.
 
I think if we get to 2-3 at the bye beating Buffalo and New York, I'd be pretty happy with that all things considered with how this season has started. However, just for the psyche of the players, and coaches (plus the fans on this board more than anything...sarcasm) a win at San Diego is imperative. If we're not 2-3 by the bye, then I for one think it's time to see what we have in Chad Henne.
