the Jets are GOOD. They were a playoff team last year, and if the kicker was worth a crap they would have been in the AFC title game. They have a solid defense, they were humiliated last week and had something to prove to the home crowd.

We lost by 10, remember what happened at their place last year?

There's no shame in losing to a better team in their house.

We played tough and will continue to get better.

I agree -- I think we played admirably given the circumstances. Last year's team would've lost that game 35-10.
 
Don't worry finjim, there are still some of us left who haven't gone completely crazy and started making ridiculous threads to cut key players of our team. How can anyone be upset after our 1-1 start after the start we had last year?
 
I disagree. The Jets are not Good. Neither are we. Watch what Carolina does to us in our house. You think we have a leaky OL. Well, you're getting ready to see a leaky DL.

Agreed. If you count the missed feild goal, we were only down a TD. That isn't bad at all.

Don;t give me that "Jets are good" talk, that's BS, we're a better team then they are.....when you say the Jets are good, you're saying the Dolphins are bad....

The Jets let us hang in the game at 10-7, we didn't execute (plain and simple), good teams will not let their opponent stick around in a close game.

I think both teams are C- football teams at best. I think we'll beat them by a similar score in Miami. The difference, in games like this, is their OL gave their running game a few holes and allowed them to win the field position game and get a couple of TD's on the board. Everything we accomplished was pretty much Gus getting rid of it right before getting killed by their DL. OL makes all the difference in games like this.
 
A week ago they sucked, and we were in for an easy treat. Now they are good, and we did a good job while in a loosing effort. It is neither one nor the other, they are not horrible, but they are not good. they are an OK team, last year they were better because pennington knew the offense. We are a rebuilding team, we will win some, loose other games, probably more of the latter. So let us take it a game at a time, we will be better against the panthers, will it be enough? I hope so, i just don't think so, we will fight them good and hang in there, but I do not think we have that extra umphhh to win the game, we are lacking big play ability on offense. But we are getting better at the trenches, we are going to be fine soon, but not this year.
 
I still think we can go 8-8 possibly 9-7. The offense needs to step up a little, Gus has done a good job.
 
I agree our front 4 defense aint putting no pressure on the jets QB and I think Carolina even has better O'Line so we'l see this sunday . Our Defensive blitz reminds me of swarms of bees trying to penetrate an inched thick glass door. boin' boink' boink'
 
If you watched the game...the Jet really should have scored way more than 17 points. The defense came up big time after time. If not for the interception we still would have had a chance to win the game.
 
i think we have a o.k. team right now.
its going to take 4-6 weeks for our offense to get on the same page.
when they finally do we will be a decent team.
we cant have the defense give up an easy score like the last jet drive!!!
if the d could hang in there and the o gets going we could be a very good team come week 12 and beyond!!!!
 
Its the little things that need to be fixed. Penalties...missed assignments blocking...nothing to insurmmountable.

Remember..we are tied for the lead of our division...

Take it one game at a time.
 
I don't know how good they are. Honestly Pennington looks like he is awful. The guy has a duck for an arm. What they had yesterday was an angry team that had the support of their home fans and a team in the Dolphins that gave away a game they should have won by 7 points.
