Wow where do I begin? I watched the Raiders last monday night and thought they were the most pathetic looking team in the league right now, but after watching the performance we put up against the Cardinals today I think I have to take that back. The good: we could have a pretty good defensive line in a few years, Will Allen.... I feel bad for the guy because he's the only one in the secondary that plays. Offense, hmmm...... well I can't really say anything positive except David Martin looked decent, and Henne had a nice drive at the end of the game. The defense, guys wake up.... we need 4 new LB's and 3 more DB's. I mean it's 1st and 20 and we blitz everybody and leave Ayodele on Boldin!!!!!! Dan Henning continues to run the same plays every single drive. Shotgun formation with draws, and these motions with the tosses, something that is never going to fool a defense. Get to the basics coaches. Sparano looked confused, is he the right choice at coach for this team.... I don't know? I thought we did a decent job in the off season in bringing in some guys that would show some heart and play, but all I've seen is we traded away Taylor, Welker, Chambers, and released Thomas.... All of which we desperately could use right now. I can go on and on about whats wrong with this team, I'm just glad I didn't make the trip up in here in Northern California to go see the Phins in action today against the Cardinals....

Henning's play calling does remind me of Wanny, but I think he was more successful that year in Carolina because DelHomme could stretch the field for their 2 RB studs and Steve Smith could not be ignored. I believe he was ultimately fired from Carolina, as well as the reason for Marv Levy's 1st departure in Buffalo because his conservative play calling got old. I'm wondering if he's gonna be the best OC for Henne.

That KC/Oakland game I suspect could be billed as "The Battle Of The Lame Duck Coaches."

Quite so,but Matt Cassell after this sunday is going to be talked about as the beggining of the new & great Cassell era, which will then lead to stupid bunghole football hosts talking so prematurely about "Will Brady be a cheatriot next season" "Possible destination for brady in 09?"
