I seem to remember certain people on this site saying I didnt know what I was talking about because I am a Limey!

I wanted USC to win, But I was glad Texas won. The hate on Vince Young was disgusting.

Congrats you made a good prediction.

the best prognosticators are the ones who don't harp on their victories...
 
Kastof disagrees with pretty much anything said, so does SMad, so don't expect credence from those guys.

Not that type of victory. If I had picked Texas no chance I would be bragging about it. That's the type of late twist of fate where you just shut up and chuckle to yourself at the good fortune, like when Atlanta ran back a blocked FG to cover my first half spread against New Orleans on the final play months ago.

With 6 minutes to go there were obviously going to be 3 meaningful possessions. Texas needed to win all 3 decisively -- TD, Stop, TD. The odds against that were stupendous, especially when USC had scored TDs on 4 straight possessions. So kudos to Texas for pulling it off, but anyone who thinks it was a clear cut decision or wasn't extremely fragile or fortunate is kiidding themselves beyond belief. As I detailed in another thread in this forum, Vince Young tried his damndest to give the final chance away with a looney lob to the right sideline that should have been picked off. If that happens then kastofsna is a genius. Instead, Leinart somehow becomes an overrated choking jerk according to some consensus on finheaven. If it weren't a known certainty that the sun will rise every morning, I'd love to see the reactions here when it's apparently late or AWOL.

Don't knock his signature, I'm sure the minutes he used sloppily cobbling it together were physically draining
