We are rebuilding. A tough year was expected after we went 1-15 and shook up the front office and roster. I thought we would perform better than we did today, but I do realize that this team is rebuilding. We have to take our lumps, get through this and let them rebuild the team.

Lets face it, Parcells/Ireland/Sparano inherited a team with less talent than an expansion team. That is true. You can't take that team and turn them into competitive winners in just about nine months. It will take probably three full years to turn this team into one that can really go out there and compete.

Their first draft appears to be a good one and if they can put together a few more like the 08' one, then we should be able to put a better product on the field. It is going to be a long year, and next year still will probably disappoint some, but I do think we finally have the right people in charge to get this thing turned around.

I'm with you brother. There is no other way around it. We really are terrible. I will watch every game from start to end but at least I know where we stand this year. Very depressed as well.

We're bad. but we knew that. you can't let the offseason full you into thinking things we'll magically get better.

But 2 games in, it is becoming very clear why our offense is struggling, and it unfortunately has something to do with Chad Pennington.

This might have a little to do with unreal expectations... the reality is we were a BAD football team and we still are...

We all feel your pain as it is getting difficult for any of us to show our faces around the water cooler on mondays... What ultimately troubles me is not the losses but a refusal to compete. I can take losing as long as my team shows up.

That sequence of events after the missed field goal was inexcusable... it had nothing to do with how young we are, or how talented our guys might or might not be... It was fundamental football, COUNT THE NUMBER OF GUYS... It was embarrassing and bush league and it took the wind from our sails and left us all shaking our heads.

I'm bummed out too man. Please .... Sparano, Ireland and Tuna, don't let us have to go through what we did last year. I was jacked up at the beginning of last season. I don't want to be saying "what the f is goin' on with the Dolphins" all year again. I went around telling people the Dolphins were going to be good last year. By the end of last season people were laughing at me. I want to be a loudmouth Dolphins fan again and wear my Dolphins gear with pride dammit!
