However, what if Philbin makes the QB change and the offense looks great and starts scoring but we don't make the playoffs, does Ross then fire Joe? Or does it show Ross that the staff made progress with the offense and they sell him on the idea of giving them one more shot with another QB.

I personally feel Ross will not get duped once again, but it would be something to worry about
