I want to know more about this guy

David Sutton (WR, 23yrs old, 6'6 223 ) , we know barely nothing about the guy that we are currently trying out in camp... here's what they say about him on thephinsider.com :

Sutton is 6'6, 223 and out of UTEP. In two years at UTEP, Sutton had just 6 receptions for 30 yards and a touchdown. Not very big numbers. But he's a guy they are bringing into camp as a project. He spent his first 2 college years Lincoln University and then Compton Community College. He never played football until he arrived at Lincoln. So he's only played this sport for just 4 years. But with his size, he seems a likely candidate to head to the practice squad so he can work with the coaches and develop into a potentially huge target for John Beck at some point down the road.

I found nothing about him on nfl.com and nfldraftcountdown.com and just about nothing on every football related site on the internet.... just asking to guys who went to practices and saw him or saw him play last year in a college game if he is any good, because he has outstanding size for a WR, 6'6 225 is my kind of guy and I hope we keep him and try to polish him .... anyways any info would be welcomed !

I havnt heard n e thing on him but 6 receptions isnt n e thing to brag about. Hes 6'6 so with a little bit of help hopefully we can turn him into last years marques colston!

wait a minute a 235 tight end isnt exactly a overweight player for the nfl hell i dont care if he is 250 lbs as long as he can block and catch the ball .

while we are on this subject why was it that our tight ends could block really well but couldnt cath the ball if you glued the darn thing in their hands and vice versa. i would like our te's to do both really well.

:ninja: america's number one dolphin fan and aviator has spoken now pass me a beer gosh darn it.:fire:

 he's 223 pounds bro... even a cat would fit better at TE than him

Actually, if you allow him to gradually try to gain a little weight from now till next year, he could be around 240+ pounds, and if done right he should not lose much speed, which would make him the fastest TE in the NFL....but can he catch the ball, or run any kind of a route.

has he played basketball? maybe it's cam's antonio for the dolphins haha

Your right about him being a project...6 catches for 30 yards with 1 td
in 2 years(NO WONDER YOU CAN'T FIND ANYTHING REGARDING THIS GUY)
His coach probably doesn't know who he is with that production.

Good luck with this player sounds like an amazing reach if you ask me.

With his size, and IF he has speed, we should find a place for him O or D... Speed is the biggest factor though. Not everyone can be JT just cause their big.
