I really want to ask some questions and disscuss miami dolphins football.
first , I want to apologize if I annoyed anyone with some of my i want Bowman threads or my lack of traditions stuff .. my problem is that the media national and locco in my area are constantly putting down the 72 dolphins esp Shula and Mercury Morris.
I am in a are cutt off from fellow dolphin fans so i am going nutts here. Anyways I think the dolphins are and always will be my team yet there is always something a fan will critisize a team for . my dislike for the all white uniforms is not a slap at the traditions or anything . I like changes and i like different uniforms but i am a dolphin fan .
my expectaions for the Miami Dolphins is t get to where we can win a super bowl or two and have really great players that make it to the pro bowl and get national recognition .

What I am wanting to discuss is which dolphin team was the most fun to watch and what was the most points that Miami offense scored in a game.
I think it would be great if we could beat a super bowl team something like 48- 7 or 38-14 but this may not happen for another year os so but one can dream.

so who do you guys want to beat and what type of offense would you love to have or watch .
my favorite team was the 73 season and the year we beat Chicago when dan and the marks brothers chopped up chicago's defense but that team gets no love but still i am very proud to have had Duper, Clayton, Jim Jenson Dan Marino , and Larry Csonka and other great.

I loved the 98 denver - miami game or was it 97 where Marino vs Elway where we won that game.

I enjoyed watching Welker and Ronnie play but its time to warm up to new players so what i am saying is I want to win damn it and i want to score more then 14 points a game .
do what do you rascals want to see with this team and what is your expectations ?

What I have learned about this board, when you enter a forum and there are 250 viewing that someone is always going to get on here and put you on blast.

Someone just wants to make a post and will use one thing you said and try and make you look stupid.

They didn't read the 50 posts before that just disagree with you and decided to ahnialate you.

It's tough not to respond, you have to ignore that and look for the genuine Dolphin fans.

I certainly feel defense wins but your offense has to be able to score at least once a quarter. I mean kickers can hit 50-yard field goals so you only have to cross the 50 and then get at least 1 first down a quarter basically.

Hopefully some long drives and TD, I think 28-points a game will win a lot of football games.

I'm hoping with Ricky and Ronnie in the backfield and Ginn and another WR emerging the Fins offense can do that this year.

Hopefully the defense without JT and Zach can also play winning defense and not cause a shootout.

I hope some stars emerge this season.

For me the 1984 team was the most fun to watch. Just watching Marino and the Marks Brothers week after week was pure excitement.

I think the most points the Dolphins scored in a game is 52 and if memory serves correcty, they did it twice. I remember the '72 team defeating the Pats 52-0 and I think we defeated the Jets in a regular season opening day game 52-10 or 52-14.

I want to beat every team in the AFC East atleast once

The most fun to watch was probably the 1984 team, that team was an unstoppable high octane offense powered by Dan Marino, featuring the Marx Brothers and Nat Moore, Tony Nathan and Woody Bennett and some very solid players on defense like AJ Duhe and the Killer B's.

- The most points the Phins have ever scored, to my knowledge is 52 (so i guess Geforce is right) when they beat the Patriots 52-0 in 1972. But i'm not sure if that is the team record for points, or simply largest margin of victory.

so who do you guys want to beat and what type of offense would you love to have or watch .
- The Jets, i hate them, i really do. I hate their fans, i hate how thousands of them invade Dolphin stadium. I hate listening to talk radio and hearing them hop on the bandwagon when they get good. I love watching their epic failures in the draft.
- What type of offense? I could go for those 80's Dolphins teams!

I enjoyed watching Welker and Ronnie play but its time to warm up to new players so what i am saying is I want to win damn it and i want to score more then 14 points a game .
- Well this franchise was long over due for some losing. It's just something that every NFL franchise has to go to, a period of struggling and full rebuilding mode. But the Dolphins have the right people both in the front office and in terms of ownership who WANT this team to succeed and win, and eventually they will. There's no doubt in my mind. We're not talking about a team like the Cardinals owned by the Bidwells who own the team to profit without spending anything. We're owned by two guys who genuninely love the Phins, want to win games, and will spend money on whoever and whatever it takes to do so.

The team I enjoyed the most is The Miami Dolphins!! Every year, come on don't we all!! Just messing, I would have to say the team's I enjoyed the most were the early 70's when I first started watching them! My favorite players of all time were AJ Duhe, DAN,#39,Tony Nathan,ZT andJT!! As far as this team TG,RB,RW and I hope to see Foster and Bess.
What I think will happen this year 8-8 or 9-7. Why I think this is because I do believe the running game and Defense will be a lot better than people think. As far as who want to beat! everyone! No mostly the pats, bills , jets( best friend is a fan) and not their selves!!

i want beat new england , but i heate the jets and dallas fans more then i do pats fans. I think you guys are right on the money on our struggles, I also think that TE Fasino , Ronnie and Ricky are the ones i am excited about the most the new guys i havent gotten their names down in my mind yet.

I liked the marks brothers , welker and oj mcduffie and lamar smith and tony nathan on offense and zach , Louis oliver and Trace Armstrong and Tim Bowens on defense.

i want a well balanced tough football team that plays with passion and tenacity.

i didnt see those 72' 73 teams but ever since ive been a diehard fan, bout 30 years now i have never felt like we had the whole team, there was always some major weaknesses somewhere, whether it be Dan not ever having a running back worth a damn or a defense that wasnt physical enough to close deals. its always something.

I want to be proud of my team, i want people to say, DAMN THOSE FREAKIN DOLPHIN ARE SOME TOUGH MOTH#@$55^^7&ERS.

Not once have i ever felt that way being a fan, i love our new direction so iam hoping finally someone gets it and i think they do, {respect the code}
