I work as a School Resource Officer at Career High School in New Haven where Donald graduated. I met him several months ago and he came in again last week. He is a really good guy and big. He played baseball there and couldn't play football because there is no team.

I was teasing him about the Dolphins and he told me that he didn't believe that they were interested in him. The Giants had called him that morning and he visited the Browns.

The incident that he had was no big deal and he really is a good guy he wants to set up a foundation to help his hometown once he is signed.

He doesn't have any wear and tear on his body due to his late start in football.

He said he was going to come back and see us after he met with his new team.

Maybe our next Rex Hadnot, but apparently much more athletic!

Hell yeah and thats our hidden Gem.

"Ronnie, behind Donald Thomas around the end and Ronnie breaks for 40 for a TD." "He would have never broken free without that big athletic guard pulling and pancaking 3 defenders in the process."

Yeah. Hadnot was as stiff as a guard rail.

Thomas was the 2nd fastest lineman at the combine. And he had the fastest 10 yard split time of all lineman (that's tackles, guards and centers combined).. Thomas was #1 put of all of them.. No one moved faster than Thomas at 10 yards.

yes, that's pretty athletic. You can't get much more athletic than that at his size. Thomas also benched 29 reps.. He was close to the top 10 for all lineman in that regard. Plus he is considered "an explosive blocker"..

So he's explosive, athletic, fast, and very strong. That's a hell of a good combination for an O-lineman. He just needs more experience and help with technique- that's what Sparano is for.
