The stadium atmosphere was very light and enjoyable. It was probably the most fun I've had at a game for a long time...until the final 3 minutes anyway.

The stadium cheered when Tiger Woods was on the sideline. Too bad he was cheering for the Colts.

It was a huge party, and I hope it remains that way for every game. Of course it doesn't mean diddly squat if we keep losing, but still...

First I wonder how long it will stay that way if the Dolphins still lose games? I wonder also how fast these so called celb's will bail!!

When the circus comes to town you want to see a show...not be part of it.

One bright spot about the game was the enthusiasm and energy of the fans. It was so loud that Tirico mentioned it a couple of times even saying that Miami usually has a subdued crowd and that he could not recall it being so loud for a Dolphins game.....an he was right!

I can't remember a time in the recent past where Fin Fans were so into a game....it really added to the excitement and interest in the game. It was great seeing/hearing the crowd getting so noisy and supporting the team with so much energy. While I realize that a lot of it had to do with it being a MNF game, we need that kind of crowd every game......hopefully it will keep up but we need to start winning to make it continue!

Good summary. As a USC alum I remember when our football sideline suddenly became a Who's-Who of Hollywood celebrities about 5 or 6 years ago -- when it was obvious the scoreboard would end favorably virtually every time, and therefore the high profile place to be.

Paul Hackett couldn't get the C listers to show up.

The stands were barren in the 3rd quarter last night. That continues to be the pathetic residue of the incompetent stadium design, and fans prioritizing everything but the game. I attended the Canes/Georgia Tech game last Thursday and the same thing happened on a smaller scale, but with the 20+ minute college halftimes the fans had time to reappear. Not last night. I watched with my dad, who exclaimed after seeing a TV view of the stadium early in the 3rd quarter, "What happened to the stadium? It's empty."

I agree. The fans last night were GREAT. They yelled their heads off. :woot: :hi5:

I wish they could be like that every game. We need every one of them. They really do make a difference in the game.

Whatever our new owner is doing is WORKING. He should keep on doing it. Keep Landshark Stadium ROCKING. Make it a place where the opposing team feels like fresh meat in a tank full of hungry sharks and other fish.

In the ocean, the dolphins can often kill the sharks. They spear the shark's gills with their head ... wallop them like Zach Thomas used to. I hear they fight like wolves in a wolfpack. They swarm the shark with hits like a good defense should. Dolphins are a lot smarter than sharks too.

The lines at the concession stands and the bathrooms were 7 miles long. They were all back midway 3rd quarter. :err:

Let's hope it stays that way. They even had the endzones painted while baseball season was still in progress for the first time since I can remember. Seemed like a great atmosphere.

The best news I heard last night about the stadium is that Landshark Stadium will be a FOOTBALL ONLY stadium in a year or two after the Marlins move to the old Orange Bowl location. No more baseball infield for us fans to have to look at !! No more worrying about mud or seeing our players get hurt on that hard infield if its dried up.
