Miami shouldnt even think about getting that bum.

Hes not even that good.

he gets into way too much trouble.

Marcus Vick isnt nothing but a thug!

look what happened to Ricky when he started smoking pot...his career is over....look at Maruice Clarrett after his dumb atempt of robbery!

Marcus vick is a little bit of all that!!!!

If we did get him....it wouldnt matter b/c he would just get suspended or thrown in Jail in like a week or so.

If his last name wasnt "Vick" no one would care about him.

That was after he got cut by the broncos. He took off 2 years of football and it showed when he couldn't make the team.

Stop whining
It's not even that seriious
Everyone has growing pains, stop being so quick to judge.
for the record, this kid does have some talent and i think that warrants atleast a look in mini camp.

i am so happy about this.why not take a chance on him.you always here those stories about players and how they turn their life around so why not do it.look at chad johnson and what he did

so all thats ok????

its ok to atemp robbery????

growing pains.......???

please...Marcus Vick has A LOT of growing up to do

I don't care what talent he has, we don't need someone with such an incredible lack of respect for the law and for football in general. He has 9 infractions in under 4 years against his drivers license, smokes pot (an NFL nono, ask Ricky), tried purposely to hurt another opposing player with repeated foot chops to the guy's ankle (on TV), was suspended by UVA for full season in 2004 and asked to leave the team again this January. He's in trouble for (and pleaded guilty to) having sex with a minor. Need we go on? There's more! (like attempted robbery)
Don't want him on my team, no way no how, just how much should we be willing to forgive? Granted he never did anything to me, but he's a cancer, feels the world is his because his last name is Vick.

If Coach Saban wants him I would accept it, but I will NEVER root for this jerk.

In Saban We Trust!

???

why the hell would you cry hello ne1 heard of brett favre he had some major
off the field issues and look how he turned out...imagine a QB that can run almost as good as mike vick and throw alot better than him :cdf:

ATTENTION WHORE?

Brett Farve???

did he smoke pot? no

did he get kicked out of the ACC? no

did his college team ban him? no

did he atemp robbery? no

Marcus Vick has serious problems..thats why no one even thought about takking a shot at him in the draft....Maricce Clarrett didnt even play his senior year and he had serious issues and he was taken in the 3rd round...and look where hes at now

I honestly don't think he would even be able to make the team. If we are looking into him, I trust that our personnel will sign him if they see anything special in him. If that's the case I would "accept it" opposed to if we had made the same mistake Denver did last year, drafting Maurice Clarett on the first day. Personally though, I think we would be better off without him... I honestly doubt he would make the team and would be lucky to even make our Practice Squad.

Brett Favre didn't smoke pot but he was an alcoholic and addicted to painkillers. Rehab helped that out, he came back and now has a shot at the all-time TD record and is a lock for the HOF.
Marcus Vick is an incredible talent. We didn't draft him, we didn't sign him, we didn't make him the starter. All we're doing is trying him out, what the hell is wrong with that!?

May I play the devil's advocate here?

1) It is rumored, if not true, that Dan Marino was a cocaine user. No one had a problem with the way he turned out.

2) Ricky smokes pot for a living, yet most people on this site not only wanted him back badly but assumed that the league would grant him impunity.

3) Leonard Little ran a person over while driving drunk. Last time I checked, he was still getting checks from the Rams.

4) Athletics in general consitute a series of second, third, and fourth chances. An NFL player doesn't lose a year until his fourth offense; an MLB player now has to be caught using steroids 3 times to get the ultimate punishment; athletes commonly get easier trials because they are athletes (Kobe and Ray Lewis may have been innocent, but there's no doubt the media circus around their trials made it harder for juries to find them guilty.)

I absolutely do not condone or pardon anything Marcus Vick has done. He's lucky he's an athlete or he'd be in jail right now rather than going to minicamp. But there is also absolutely no reason why we shouldn't see if he's got talent and if he's ready to grow up. The second we let him go, he signs somewhere else, and becomes a solid player is the minute after Dolphins fans start complaining that we gave up too soon.

There is no harm possible. He is not going to be the focal point of the team like Ricky was, so if he's here one day and gone the next, it's no big deal. Veterans and even more mature rookies aren't going to have their attitudes changed because of him; if anything, and hopefully for his sake, it will be the reverse. I don't like what Vick has made himself, but to be cliche, this is a business first, and if he makes my team better, more power to him. If/when he misbehaves, cut his butt.
