YOU HEARD IT FROM ME FIRST FOLKS!

i was thinking about why all of a suddden ireland and company
is letting it be known that we would like another second round
pic in this years draft. everybody wants more pics, thats a gimme,
but why the advertisement? seems like there is something up with that.

now i know!!

last night at about 7:30 mountain time on sirius radio, there were two
anouncers on the nfl talk part of the night. i didnt get there names but
i hear them all the time, even during the day. they talk to tex shram a lot
and one of the guys used to play for the giants years back.

anyhoo, they said that the MIAMI DOLPHINS have quietly been talking a
trade with arizona for ANQUON BOLDIN!!!!!

tex shram had told them that the reason they want to pull the trigger now for a big time wr is they know it will take a 1st round pic in ANY
deal for anquon or any other big time star wr. the dolphins have a lower
round 1st pic this time and they would rather use that one now seeing
as they have 2 #2 pics. and then they went on about how great it would be for both and how much ginn and bess would blossom with his presence, etc.......

NOW it makes sense why all of a suddden we are fishing for a second rounder. the 1st is going for boldin and the finz would like to add the
other second just because because [which makes sense].

i am ALL FOR THIS!! [yeah yeah, i know, we need a fat guard and a
"maybe he will make the team" lb in the first [that will score points huh? :chuckle:

so...... you heard it HERE from ME first.............

ANQUON BOLDIN WILL BE A MIAMI DOLPHIN THIS YEAR, IN 2009!!!!

i can just feel it in my bones.:woot:

i have been saying this for a while, it would make TOO much sense! teddy slim would actually be worth a damn! anquan boldin a dolphin in 09.

if we got away with only givin up one 1st rounder and say one of our three 7th rounders i would be all for it. A #1 receiver for the price of a low first rounder makes sense to me.

Based on the Roy Williams trade, Arizona will want a 1st and a 3rd and im not sure im ok with that. Why not just use the 1st on Hakeem Nicks or Macklin and then we still have that 3rd to use on anotherplayer. But id do it in a heartbeat if its just a 1st.

I hope your right......I would be ok with a first rounder for Boldin but Looking at what the Cowboys paid for Williams I think we will have to give up more than that, which I would not be ok with. I like Boldin but not if he takes our draft away.....

I would rather not give up a first round pick for anyone, but I would not hate the trade, afterall we are deep into round one so trading for Boldin wouldn't be all that bad.

Agreed.

I am generally opposed to tradeing picks for players, but Boldin is a proven commodity. Right off the bat on a terrible Cardinals team with Blake and McKown as QBs, he tore it up. His performance has been consistant. I think he's a good risk.

first off, roy williams isnt a wart on anquon boldins sack! he was traded out of detroit because he was basically a bust and he didnt do much in dallas either
so far. the cowboys will over pay for ANYONE they want. boldin is EASILY
worth a 1st and 3rd. more actually, and he is worth it!

I LOVE hakeem nicks and macklin, but two things.....

1. neither will be there when we pick.

2. anquon is young, proven, pro bowl, all world wr. there is no
guessing on what he is and what we will get. ANY rookie, there is
a learning curve and a STRONG chance they wont live up or they
completely wash out. i will spend my money on a sure thing!!

if anquon was 32, no. but he is still an nfl pup! just coming into his prime!

i would give up this years one and a 3 or this years one and next years 2
or a combo of #1 plus a lower 4th or 5th and a third next year.

this move puts us WAY, WAY up in the echelon of the nfl. this changes
every teams defense that plays us. no more 2,438 guys in the box to
stop the run on every down. and we actually SCORE POINTS! he who scores
the MOST points WINS!!

god i hope this is true. shram usually does not put out bugus fluff rumours.

of course, this just means they are talking, anything could happen.

AND I FORGOT.............

scram also said that MIAMI was one of the few teams with enough cap
money to pay him the lock down, retire with the club salary he wants
[and deserves]. that and he gets to play in florida, his home state and
no income tax.

it just appears everything is right for this trade all the way around.

Well we need a WR and he's a lot better than anything we'd be able to get with the 25th pick. Only 28.....

If we get Jason Brown in FA, I think this makes even more sense.

first off, roy williams isnt a wart on anquon boldins sack!.

What a lovely quote....

Regardless, I am in for this trade too, especially if we only have to give up our late first rounder. We make the trade, re-sign him for a 4 year contract and we are golden at the WR position for years to come with boldin/ginn/bess
