Listen everyone I am as mad as you about this whole GM search, what an embarrassment. Unfortunately that's how it goes and we have to deal with it. I hope he surprises all of us and I will be happy if he starts off by doing the following:

1) He resigns Brent Grimes.....well because he is straight up awesome.
2) Resign Big Paul......He eats Olineman for breakfast.
3) Fixes this trash Oline. Not even gonna get into details on this one because I have no clue how to accomplish such a task.
4) Gets us a linebacker to replace Wheeler.....Free Agent or the draft I dont care but I saw enough missed tackles for a lifetime last year.
5) Resign Keller if healthy.....Yea I know this one might be frowned upon but if he clears the med staff resign him. Just imagine a 5 set of Keller, Clay, Wallace, Hartline, Gibson with Matthews in the mix too. That's weapons.

Phinsup!!!!! Lets all hope for the best.

If cuts Martin in the press conference, I will change my avatar on the spot.

I'm with ya on all your points. Grimes 100% has to be resigned. I just have a hard time accepting Hickey based on Tampa's struggles. But I guess w e gotta give him a chance. Actually we have no choice...lol

i will support hickey until i have reason to feel otherwise. he is the GM of my team.

Now that's an intelligent, sensible post. Minus the complaining about a process and details you have no personal knowledge of. I'm with you.

If he actually did that at his intro presser, that would be ballsy and would no doubt change everybody's outlook on him.

I support the guy. He wasn't my first, second, third or even fourth choice but he's the guy now so ... I'm going to sit back and see what he does. I think he'll want to establish and ingratiate himself with the fans pretty quickly.

That would be un-freakin-believablely great.

It's like Mando wrote today, in 2004, Miami made the unpopular hire of Spielman as GM. At his intro. press conference, the team introduced Marino as VP of Football Ops., which kind of masked what a terrible and unpopular hire Spielman was. The only thing that could make Tuesday's presser go smoothly is if there is something that masks the announcement of the Hickey hire.

Would love for Hickey to come out Vince McMahon style and look straight into the camera: "Jonathan Martin...YOU'RE FIIIIIIIIIRRRREEDD!!!" That would be EPIC.

Rofl bro if he does I will forever be his biggest fan.

I will support him until he shows he can't do the job. Hoping that day doesn't come, and PRAYING that if it does, it isn't soon. New team, new position for him. Not my pick but nothing else to do now. He deserves a chance. I think Grimes and either Soliai or Starks have to be resigned within his first few days/weeks for him to have a chance with this fanbase. I wish him luck!

Don't hold your breath on that one. The press conference will be strictly an introduction, managed by Harvey. Dennis Hickey has had 18 years with the Tampa Bay Bucs in senior personnel positions - ie he is very experienced... He will thank Mr Ross for giving him this opportunity... He is looking forward to working with Joe Philbin and Dawn Aponte (Czarina)... He is very excited to get down to work.... Looking forward to helping the Dolphins get to the Super Bowl... Yada, yada, yada.

Also J-Mart could be coming back as O-line depth.
