I Wish Roethlisberger plays Thurs Night

I wish Big Ben could play Thursday night.

And Hines Ward too...

Obvious Big Ben is out, and Ward is questionable. But I would like to watch my beloved Dolphins play hard against the Steelers at their best and at thier strongest. If Big Ben was in, I feel like we would have a great chance to win the game, but I would not be so disappointed in a loss.
Now with this news of Ben out, I expect, heck even demand a win, a loss would be a large disapointment. I dont think it will happen however. I believed we were going to win before I heard the Big Ben news.
I d like to know that if we were to beat the Steelers, it would be at the Steelers full strength. IF we win now, I will still be tickled sh$#less, because it is a huge win due to the playoff implmincations at the end of the year.
IF we win our division going 11-5 for example, and the Steelers do the same, we would get the better seed due to the victory which is also good news.

I guess injuries are a part of the game and it is what it is. God Speed to Ben and I wish him a speedy recovery and back on the field ASAP. He is a class act, and I was looking forward to the matchup with the Fins.

Even a Vegas line agrees with you. As of 6:56 pm, Miami is 1.5 point favorites vs Pittsburgh on Thursday. The spread is down from 5.5 points favoring Pittsburgh a few days ago.

Wow. I saw it this afternoon at (pitt -4) and I jumped all over it. They are still a dengerous team. What a mental blow however.

Charlie Batch is also a NFL player and a veteran...he can beat the dolphins

just like the dolphins can beat him

we wont let our guards down..Saban wont let them do that...anything can happen in the NFL..and i wouldnt be shock if we win in pittsburgh or lose

I can imagine I will be in the minority here, but I have to respectively disagree. The nfl season is a long season. There will be some games where we have players hurt, and other games where we just hit a average team on a roll. Pitt is one of the teams fighting with us for either a wild card or for home field advantage. Either way we could really use a upset win, no matter who is behind center for them. Come week 17 it really won't matter how we beat who back on week one, just that we have as many wins as possible.
Now I have to admit I hate big Ben is having problems and I too would like to go up there and find a way to win with him still in the game. But this year, unlike the last few years, we have to look at EVERY game as the one that might make the difference as to whether we make the playoffs or not....or at least that is the way I see it. I say take every advantage we can, when we can.

I'm sure saban will keep them focused and have them prepared. I think Pitts D will be fired up, believing it is on them to win the game through blitzing, turnovers and shutting Ronnie down. Hopefully our O'line will be up for the challenge.

Yeah we can't win now. If the Steelers lose it's because Ben was out and if they win we will never hear the end of it.
