I wish we would just stick with a coach.

Only at Finheaven is Jeff Fisher a lousy coach and Tony Sparano a damned fine one.

No need to put words in the OP's mouth. He never said anything even remotely close to Fisher being a lousy coach. He did say he liked Sparano which I don't agree with but there is still no reason to spin what he said for the sake insulting him. Just sayin

He wasn't....he was paraphrasing. And he summed up exactly how I perceived the OP's thread.

Do you need to touch a hot stove 5 times to finally concede that its hot?

I guess I didn't convey my point very well.

I wish we could get a quality coach, who wants nothing more than to be the head coach of the Miami Dolphins, who can restore this franchise back to its winning ways, that we want to keep here for many years.

LOL

6 winning seasons out of 16+ including five 8-8 seasons and a Henning-like 90s offensive philosophy = barely mediocre. Why all the kowtowing to at best an average HC?

I agree with the original posters point, constantly changing regimes is not a recipe fir success. I also agree Sparano had to go. If we land Fisher we can't be quick to pull the plug, we need to give it a chance. It's funny how everyone here seems to know it takes time to build a winner but want a regime change if there's not immediate success.

I understand maintaining a level of stability at the head coaching position. And i think thats fair if a head coach gets to the playoffs consistently
