I wish we would have drafted Orton over T. Daniels. I like Travis but I like what I am seeing from Orton much more. Oh well.

Right and then we'd have Howard starting with Mario Edwards still around. I say hell no to that.

Plus Orton could have precluded taking a QB next year. The options are intriguing next year. Does the team trade for Philip Rivers, does it have a high enough draft pick to pick up a QB or do they have the firepower to move up into the late first to grab a QB etc.

Who knows if Orton would've done better behind our line. And by saying that I'm not defending Gus, because we all know he has played like crap. Even Fiedler did a WEEE bit better behind basically the same line. The point is, without an even average line NO QB would be able to survive, let alone thrive behind our line.

I agree. On draft day I would've preferred taking Orton but after seeing Howard play, im glad Saban went with Daniels. Im also excited about our options next year:D .
