I wonder, have Bill Lazor and Chip Kelly talked about New England this year?

After all what better way to get a scouting report, they did have a joint practice this year.

I'll bet they did.

Thoughts?

Probably...I would think Lazor would contact Kelly since Belichick has been picking Kelly's brain as well. Eagles did put up 35 points on them even after practicing against them for a week before the game.

The Pasties are posting their advantage that they practiced against the Eagles to prepare them for the Miami fast paced Offense.

They forgot that it works both ways. LOL

Yeah I am sure Lazor talked to Kelly so Miami knows what Chip Kelly knows.
SO Good by advantage NE. LOL

Miami can play the sociological warfare game too, LOL

Hmm... what did Lazor learn seeing how bad the Eagles crushed the Patsies in the
Preseason game even after their supposed advantage of practicing against them.

Would love to see coaches joining forces against the Cheatriots, they deserve it

Isn't interesting how Bill needs to form alliances. Don't forget he is buddies w/ the Nictator in Tuscaloosa & Urban in Columbus.

You know damn well he did. Of course there will be certain posters here (****Cough Roy_Miami****) who thinks our team wouldn't ever stoop to such unethical bastardom.

I don't think that's unethical. He's not asking Chip Kelly to send him a weeks worth of practices tapes they had with the Patriots (something the Patriots would no doubt do if they could). Asking question and sharing information is a common practice among coaches who don't face each other and have a relationship. It would be weird if Lazor had no ties to Chip Kelly and called him out of the blue and asked what he could tell him about the Pats.

Unethical is signing a player from a team you're about to play in an effort to gain information, short of waterboarding. Unethical is taping a teams CLOSED practice in an effort to gain information about the teams formations and play designs. Unethical is wiretapping an opposing teams locker room in an effort to gain the upper hand after halftime (something the Saints allegedly did). While there aren't any rules against these maneuvers (except for the wiretapping which is a federal offense) they certainly seem to cross the line of UNWRITTEN rules. There are people on this board who would rather cheat and win than win with integrity...I'd rather win with integrity.

You lost me with your nonsense when you uttered "waterboarding" in the same conversation.

It's a win-win for any team to sign a player from within their division who has talent and obviously knows a rival well. You act like these guys can't make their roster. :rolleyes2:

Carry on with your stupidity then.

I sure hope Lazor placed a call to Chip...

Information is freely exchanged in the NFL, whether it is a recently signed player, the addition of a new coach, or former colleagues engaging in a information swap.

Maybe I'm over using some form of excuse or another as to why the Pats beat the Phins....I'd prefer to believe that regardless of what another team does in preparation that the Dolphins players are tenacious enough and the coaches smart enough to make adjustments as the game goes on.

Firstly, yes, I'm sure Lazor picked Kelly's brain about the Patriots. He is part of Kelly's coaching tree. And if there is one mind in all of football I'd most like to pick as an ongoing resource, it would definitely be Chip Kelly.

Secondly, Belichik has been consulting with Chip Kelly and implementing some of Kelly's advice since Kelly was at Oregon. In fact, over half of the NFL'S teams consulted Chip Kelly when he was in Oregon and some of Peyton Manning's and Tom Brady's hurry up elements are direct results of Kelly consulting.

So ... Belichik is familiar with Kelly's system nd he knows it is highly effective. I'm sure Belichik analyzed everything he could from their joint practices.

And Kelly knows New England too. I'm confident he knows and has suggested to Lazor a few tidbits about how to crack the Patriot defense.

I really don't think any of this really matters.

Lazor has a gameplan designed to keep BB on the run. The tempo and executing that tempo with success is what will drive BB crazy. Especially in this heat.

Half of this offense is already known/used in this league, its just done out of different sets. So if BB knows that he see's a certain set with certain players, he will know its A, B, or C that is going to happen. But he cant tell when RT is keeping on a read option. He can be told we plan on running a lot of read option, but then in fact do not. Or run it the first play, still burn them for 10 and then never use it again....

Ive seen BB confused. You will know it when you see it.
