You know damn well he did. Of course there will be certain posters here (****Cough Roy_Miami****) who thinks our team wouldn't ever stoop to such unethical bastardom.
I don't think that's unethical. He's not asking Chip Kelly to send him a weeks worth of practices tapes they had with the Patriots (something the Patriots would no doubt do if they could). Asking question and sharing information is a common practice among coaches who don't face each other and have a relationship. It would be weird if Lazor had no ties to Chip Kelly and called him out of the blue and asked what he could tell him about the Pats.
Unethical is signing a player from a team you're about to play in an effort to gain information, short of waterboarding. Unethical is taping a teams CLOSED practice in an effort to gain information about the teams formations and play designs. Unethical is wiretapping an opposing teams locker room in an effort to gain the upper hand after halftime (something the Saints allegedly did). While there aren't any rules against these maneuvers (except for the wiretapping which is a federal offense) they certainly seem to cross the line of UNWRITTEN rules. There are people on this board who would rather cheat and win than win with integrity...I'd rather win with integrity.
You lost me with your nonsense when you uttered "waterboarding" in the same conversation.
It's a win-win for any team to sign a player from within their division who has talent and obviously knows a rival well. You act like these guys can't make their roster. :rolleyes2:
Carry on with your stupidity then.
