I would give Arizona our 1st pick for Anquan and I would give up are second pick for Lito Sheppard. As long as they sign long term agrements.
Lito is only 27 we sure did'nt have a problem drafting a 26 year old rookie with our second pick last year. Anquan is 28 but I feel were not going to be able to get a WR any better then him in the draft. I truly think we are a solid team with only a few true playmakers away from being a contender for a long run in the playoffs.

I know that is how the old front office use to opperate but we never got back any stars in our bone head trades.

I think Anquan is out of the question. Cards won't trade him. And you are right in saying not much pickings in the draft. I do believe Roy Williams is a FA at the end of the year so he may be worth pursuiting.

I agree.. a few playmakers at linebacker, a few playmakers at receiver, a few playmakers at DB and a play maker at DT.

wait a minute.. thats like half the team

Trades like that is how we degenerated into a 1-15 team. :(

ROy Williams is a coverage liability. We already have enough of those don't we?

You just worry about your Vikings tonight Mr. Speilman.

I agree with you on both. Let's all look at this with some intelligence. What will be the focus of the Dolphins next
off-season? The answer is WR,CB and OLB. We have a 1 and 2 #2picks so why not trade those picks and get these players now who are in their prime
and are productive? We can't go on with these players we have.

Just because we lost yesterday, lets not lose sight of what we are trying to do here.. build throught the draft. Anquan is not worth to us what could likely be a very high first round draft pick

For the second time (and second thread) in 24 hours...

THIS IS NOT MADDEN. I REPEAT; THIS IS NOT MADDEN.

Boldin for a 1st? I would love Boldin but no thank you, 2nd round pick maybe, 3rd round pick and Hagan and maybe another player most definately. A 2nd for Lito? No thank you, a 3rd definately, a 4th, Goodman, and another player? damn skippy

I'd rather trade and RECEIVE draft picks than trade and GIVE AWAY draft picks. When rebuilding, stock up on picks.

Besides, I would rather get our defense in line before going after a WR. What do most teams who make it deep into the playoffs and win the super bowl typically have in common? A great defense! Why did we stay in the close games and win some a couple years ago? A good defense! Why did we lose the close games last year? A bad defense.

Give me a shut-down corner, hard-playing safety, and run-stopping linebacker before finding me a wide receiver. We can find these in the draft.

Just my opinion.
