Than to line up in the shotgun and throw a pass with no time left on the clock to end the first half!!! Jay Ajayi is a power back......give him the damn ball. For heavens sake give it to Lamar Miller if you are scared of the rookie mistake, but for the life of me the shotgun formation pass was doomed to fail inmho.:hump:
 
We lined up in shotgun every time in tight red...bill lazor to thank for it...they obviously didnt think this team could ever move anyone off the ball under center

Oh well...with our oline im either under center or im passing it too
 
Ya I was screaming wtf as soon as I saw shotgun I left cause I knew we weren't scoring.

I keep hearing that Tannehills athleticism is one of his big qualities ?

I remember there was a play called the QB sneak, wonder if Lazors heard of it.... Miller sounds good to....
 
Once you saw them go shotgun at the 1 you knew it was never gonna happen.

Was today tannehills first keeper on the option? Didn't you hear the announcer at start of the game tannehill isn't an athletic qb.

same thought. When was the last time we called a QB sneak in a short yardage situation? Completely frustrated.
 
Sims was actually open initially. If you're going to throw there I prefer a play action boot, 2 man rout, opportunity to tuck and run right away if it's not developing.
 
I rather would have called a time out so we had time to run another play.
 
Just run the ball CMON MAN. At very least a QB sneak. The ball is on the 1 yard line. If we got stuffed at least we get the ball back at the half. That play was a hot mess. Lazor get ya **** together man.
 
Tom Brady runs it in 99.9% of the time, and the dirty little secret is that he starts his quarterback sneak about a half second before the ball is snapped and the refs NEVER call Brady for illegal motion or offsides. Just watch Brady sometime on 4th and one.
 
It must be a running play. Seattle should've ran it vs. NE. Miami should've run it today. Shotgun takes him a few yards back anyway so it's already a disadvantage.
