I would like to see Merritt on game this week end

Nah, Grier will be giving Fuller a fully guaranteed extension

Would be nice since our hyped up trio has been nothing but a huge disappointment outside of Waddle.

I agree. Develop young guys or at least see what they’ve got as we plan our future. You never know, Merritt could break a play or two. He did in preseason. Yes, that’s a different animal, but he has good size and athleticism. There’s potential.

Certainly, after Parker and Waddle there’s not much at the position anyway. Preston needs to get his act together and is running out of time. Wilson has stolen a huge bag of money from the Dolphins and is utterly useless. Fuller is too delicate.

I thought Merritt showed well in the preseason. At this point, I'd also like to see Doaks and Robert Jones.

Albert Wilson showed well in PS. Not dismissing your point - I'd LOVE to see Merritt and others - but PS is football burlesque. That said, Merritt looked comfortable when he was on the field. I'd like to see how that translates with live bullets

Hello

With this season already finished I really would like to see young player getting action to evaluate for years to come.

And with the overhaul to come at WR next year Kirk Merritt is on top of my list

He was good in TC and in preseason…..it s time to see what he can do
long, iggy and doaks too

True. An entirely different animal.

I am a little mixed. I get the philosophy of developing young players, but not seeing Merritt as part of Miami’s core moving forward.

I think it would be wiser to put the best players on the field to develop Tua and get the offense into a flow. That is best done making DVP, Waddle, and Gesicki the focal point of the offense.

Agrée for DVP, Waddle and Gesicki….and I hope this will be our core offensive player next season but we need another WR to this group, and nothing to loose to try Merritt who could be very cheap and perhaps contribute and in this case perhaps to avoid to spend money on a FA WR
