In five games with the Browns, Roth has 26 tackles and four sacks - or more than any Dolphins LB in the same span.

We sure could have used him Sunday...WTF:confused:

what were his stats in his 3 or 4 games he played with us this year?

Probably to make room for some ex-lion lineman that we already cut!

Did he ever do anything like that while he was on the team? Besides, the Browns 2nd leading tackler is David Bowens who coming into this year, his best season was 43 tackles all year (has 71 currently).

He went from being a coaches favorite to in the doghouse because of his damn groin.

We definitely could have used him down the stretch.

He is also on a very terrible Browns team. I don't think the FO plan to use him as anything more then a stop gap player at LB. You honestly think that he would have been a starting LB for us after we draft our LB'ers this year??

Maybe . . . kid was a DE playing LB last year and was arguably our best LB. I dunno, some figured he would have a full offseason getting in OLB shape and come in and really succeed.

Just never materialized.

Because he's not a long term answer at OLB and he was just taking up space. He's gone, Miami has moved on. Now we as fans need to. One more week to post his stats (we better hope he has a huuuuge game).

Obviously the FO was pizzed at the Drew Rosenhaus-inspired shenanigans and thought cutting him loose would make a statement to both Roth and his agent. But in reality, he was a decent player last year for us, which is more than I can say about some of our defenders this year and by giving him away without any recompense, the FO stupidly "cut off their own nose to spite their face." Reallly stupid!!!!!

Yea I kinda thought it was dumb...They should have just deactivated him...

Why let someone else have him...

That's just it, he did not play much for us this year, he had the mysterious groin injury most of the season, and when he got in, he was not going to start over JT and Joey.

Last year he was our best LB against the run, our 2nd best pass-rusher, and his intensity and toughness was something that this team needed.

That groin injury garbage really hurt him with our coaches, but was still to good a player to just get rid of for nothing.

News flash, not everything Parcells and his cronies does is right. People think this guy is some kind of God. He should have kept Roth, and Dumped Joey "Piss Poor" Porter.

At least Roth can hold the edge and brought passion during the game. The only time you hear about Joey is before the game.
