Forgive the final paragraphs being in bold. We're still trying to hash out the bugs in the system on this website that I work with.

It's long...terribly long, as a warning. The amazing part is I had this written within like an hour or two of the announcement...but I cheated, I had already been working on a Brees/Culpepper comparative piece about 3 weeks ago that got shelved because of the transition we've been making with the website.

CK that article was great.. I could read stuff like this all day long, about players and teams.. Your write-up of Culpepper, Brees was very well done, and you covered all the bases.. Thanx for passing this along..
 
I do wish I had thought to incorporate some of the detailed stat breakdowns that Fineas was able to put together in the now-infamous 'manifesto'.

Next time I write something like this I may ask Fineas to collaborate with me on it to incorporate some of those stat breakdowns.

Everything in there is public ****ing knowledge. Stats are freely available on god knows how many websites out there and I compiled most of that **** myself by hand.

Put your money where your bull**** is son, find me articles where I ripped off non-public information.

The only thing that even comes close are the salary demands of Brees.

I think this article highlights the fact that protection is is one of the biggest factors in a QB's success. If Houck & company can make Daunte comfortable in the pocket, I think we can expect some great numbers from him. I hope they can upgrade the center position, or Hadnot/Smith come into their own.
