.@RapSheet on Gus Malzahn: "I would expect the Dolphins to have interest in him if they part ways with Joe Philbin."

This would be unreal selection. He is easily at the top of my list. Talk about an intellectual advantage. Love it.

I would hate it with a passion, and not just because his name isn't Jim Harbaugh.

I was just commenting on that, thanks for posting it. I would be so freaking excited and blown away! Please make it happen, Ross.

Malzahn is a really intriguing coach. He strikes me as someone who could either be the next great -- and I mean great -- NFL coach, or a guy who strikes out quickly and goes back to college.

Is he going to be Chip Kelly... or Nick Saban? To be honest, I'd love to find out. I thought that Nick Saban the coach was actually pretty good. He was just hamstrung by Nick Saban the idiot GM who drafted Ronnie Brown #2 overall and traded for Daunte Culpepper.

He would be an unreal selection. People calling him a gimmick do not understand that he has tailored offenses for his talent every stop along the way. Simply a brilliant football coach. Brilliant.

The man owns Nick Saban's defenses and would do the same with the douche in New England.

Malzahn is as smart, innovative, and motivational as they come. Yes, there is a chance that his game doesn't transfer to the pros but something tells me that he adjusts to the talent he has rather than cramming a square peg in a round hole...cough, cough Philbin.

I agree. I think Saban would have succeeded here had he stayed. Passing on Aaron Rogers was a bad move. Still can't believe how low Rogers went in that draft. I do think Saban would have build a great defense here and challenged, but you never know.

Malzahn's history is absolutely that he will adapt to the personnel he has to work with. He's the kind of guy who will lie awake at night thinking of schemes he can draw up to suit his players. That's why I find him so compelling.

I know it LOOKS like he's a college gimmick guy, but I think he's more likely to be the next Chip Kelly than Steve Spurrier. I really do.

That is why you root for losses so things like this can become reality. Who wants 2 meaningless wins?

Malzahn is simply ****ing brilliant.

Grand Slam Selection.

Great another gimmick college offense that wants a crutch qb

You want up tempo? You got it.
