IAQ Done For 2017?

Safety is a big problem that must be addressed now. I'm really not a huge fan of anyone outside Jones.
 
lol which reminds me...Louis delmas still hurt as a FA? Sucks players just can't stay healthy.
 
Got to build a team from the middle out. You cant just have 1 DT and 1 Safety and a MLB that should an OLB. You will get gashed every game.
 
Sucks. What's the story with Jordan Lucas? Is there any reason to think he can develop into a decent starter besides the fact he's still on the roster?

With Aikens destined for a career in special teams, and Thomas just serviceable, makes me wonder about Lucas.
 
Well, this is an absolutely loaded draft for safety. Miami could potentially get a starting caliber safety in the 3rd round, but could have some real amazing options earlier. Peppers and/or Baker could both be there at #22.

I don't think it's likely that the Dolphins will draft anything but linebacker and defensive end in the first two rounds, but then again that can change based on what happens in free agency.

Another strong candidate late or undrafted is Richmond's David Jones.

Keep in mind the Dolphins might be trading for Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie. If they do, Xavien Howard is a strong candidate to move to safety.
