Ive run into him a couple times out during the offseason.. Well, the only nightlife he should be having now involves a film room until he shows us his worth on the field.. Is this a fair request?

If I were him, I wouldn't show my face in public until he wins a couple games. Stay home, Daunte. Have your dinner delivered.

Listen, the guy has a job.. If he isnt performing as he should, he should not be out there getting plastered every night.. People in the real world would get fired for such irresponsibility, no? As long as he performs, who cares.. But if he doesnt... Well...

yea, the guy has a job, but there isn't a job in the world that is worth sacrificing ALL of your free time for. If ALL any of these players did was practice and study film, plays etc....... it would be very boring to them after a while, and they probably wouldn't want to play anyway. Those of you who think that Pro Football players should do NOTHING but eat sleep and breath football are kidding themselves. They have regular lives just like everyone else. Now if you're saying that he really is going out and getting hammered every night(which I find hard to believe) then he probably has an alchohol problem, and YES that needs to be fixed, but to imply that he needs to stay inside and NEVER go anywhere or do anything is uttelry rediculous.

You know what though, Pro Football isnt a regular job.. They have a TON of time in the offseason to party and live it up.. During the season it SHOULD be all about the job for them.. The rest of us have like 1 week of paid vacation a year. Plus, we dont live in mansions and have 80 foot yachts to come home to.

Culpepper was not as bad as you make him out to be I saw a 72% completion 250 yard 1td 1 int game. HELLO that is not horrible. if anything or oline didn't have its bestgame.

Try watching the game instead of the NFL.com stats next time please.

I think it is a fair request. When you're struggling with your job, you do need to go the extra mile to catch up.

But this "getting plastered every night" statement, can you back this up or is this just bitter hearsay?

That ("plastered") is more hyperbole on my part.. Just a way of speaking, sorry if I overplayed that.. Basically I meant going out every night, which normally entails drinking, but not getting stupid drunk.. I have no way of knowing that.. The only time I saw him out he was just hanging like a normal guy at a table.. But I have friends who work at Hard Rock and they say he practically lives there.. but then again, many Dolphin players do..

How much of that came once the Dolphins were down by double digits in the second half?
