PLease I do not wanna see Vic FAngio here!! The guy is a poor D coordinator. I dont mind Cottrell JErry Gray Or Haslett or CApers!! FAngio was the texansd D caller and in the past minnesotas he is soo poor

Keep in mind we dont have an official opening for DC. Richard Smith is still here and worst case if an improvement (Capers, Venturi, etc) isnt brought in we dont have a void that needs to be field. We will run the same scheme and improve upon the execution.

66, that's a good point and one that many are overlooking. Smith wasn't Saban's first choice, and my guess is he wants a Capers or Venturi in here where he doesn't have to oversee as much.

I don't know how Fangio's name popped into Dominizzo's head, but I've certainly never heard or read it anywhere that Saban was considering him....One thing tho Dom...in Minny and Texas, Fangio never had players....poor GMing in both cases...(not that I expect his name to be brought up though....)

I don't remember Vic Fangio in Minny. What did he do there? Foge Fazio (sp?) was their DC awhile back.
