ok say manning goes to the titans and flynn signs with the browns.....with the titans now having their qb.....why dont the fins see if they could get jake locker from the titans....not really sure what it would cost in draft picks to get him....but i rather have him then flynn thats for sure! thoughts??

we can get both Brady Quinn & Ted Ginn that should solve our problems. lol

The titans want Peyton to groom locker, they wouldn't trade him.

I doubt the Titans will give up Locker. He will still be their QB of the future. Manning only has a few years left and they will need someone after he retires. They will release Hasselbeck and keep Locker.

Is it just me, or can we say that the Dolphins will never be able to get anybody worth anything in free agency as long as Jeff Ireland is the GM. Players are not willing to join a team where they are traded two years later for less than they were traded for, or asked if their mothers are prostitutes. The only players the Dolphins can get are players that have no choice. That means the draft or trades.

One of the biggest benefits if Ten scored Manning is that they'd be able to develop Locker behind him. So no way. We would have a chance at Hasselbeck though. Do it, Ireland. Work your magic.

I think Locker is a FA in two years. I keep seeing manning want a 3 yr deal. I find it hard to believe the Titans would pay Locker to sit the bench and then let him walk. I say grab Locker ASAP. With this team looking more like a long term contender than a short, Locker>Manning.

I believe Locker is signed for three or four more years. He was a 1st round pick and signed at least a four year deal. I don't see the Titans getting rid of him because they need a QB when Manning retires. Wherever Manning goes, he is only a short term solution.

Actually if we miss Manning, Flynn, if Kolb gets cut he would work in this offense I believe for a much lower salary of course....call it Plan E

Kolb blows. He would be plan z.

I don't want Weeden because of his age. I believe he will be 29 next season. He is older than Matt Moore. Most rookie QB's are about 21 or 22 when they get drafted. That is a difference of 7 or 8 years right there. No thanks.

Kolb would work better in a west coast offense........but I would rather go after Mallet. We should have drafted him last year when we had the chance.

If Locker was in any way available, I'd say go for him 1st.

But I don't see Tennessee letting him go.
