Idea to float out there

The fact of the matter is, we can do that kinda stuff without clips. But at the same time, no one will care about them. It would be kinda lame. If this video we were to shoot would be about stuff other than the dolphins...sure we would find footage on other topics. But that's not possible, and the bulk of our stuff would be dolphins stuff...stuff already shot by tv networks and such.

I say we dont worry about the video for awhile and focus on the audio. Also, I am taking a voice coaching class for broadcasting in the spring, that should be a lot of fun and make me better :)

By the way, to let you guys know, NOW that I'm officially 18 and able to work at a TV Station, I have begun looking for a job in TV, in Miami. Mainly looking at NBC, ABC, CBS.

I'll let you guys know how that turns out, so far, nothing but a lot of talking that is frustrating the living **** out of me because I want to start working already.

concentrate on college migs, even though you've done a lot already, a successful internship will put you leaps and bounds ahead because I know you would do a superb job. Then you'll get some opportunities.

I think the Man on the Streets segment would be awesome. Each week you could take your mic and camera with you on the streets/halls/cafes, etc. and ask a question relevant to that week or whatever. Hell, maybe even give out some FinHeaven gear to the hottest chick I mean the person who gives the most noteworthy answer.

Man on the Streets would definitely do better as a video. We could maybe offer a shorter audio podcast piggybacked with a video Man on the Streets. Maybe they add up to 15-20 minutes together.

We could even make the Man on the Streets video the incentive to listening to the end of the audio. Like at the end, we drop the URL for the video on people and let them know that this is the only way you'll hear about it and that it won't be posted. Since it's an MP3, they could just rewind it if they don't catch it the first or second time. Would be cool to see people talking about the "bonus" on the boards......and tuning in each week to hear the URL.

Just brainstorming.

Man on the Street could actually be Man in the Parking Lot. Do it before and after Dolphins games outside of the stadium! Talk to people there!

And Migs, doing video outside the stadium, that would do wonders for your resume and give you some actual recent "tape" to send in with your resume.

On a comedy side, if we also do it in the parking lot we can get some of millions of drunks to talk.

I look at it going two ways.

Serious or Funny. Always entertaining, but I mean we really can't combine those two aspects because if it's funny, then the Dolphins topics won't be taken serious (analysis, opinions, etc) But, we can also do some funny *** stuff with drunk fans.

Just to ponder.

depends on the season. If we are like a .500 team or better, stick to the serious stuff. If we suck like last year and are on our way to another 4-12, then go COMEDY! :rofl3:

Well, you could just record both and use whichever whichever clips suit us depending on how the team did that week. For example, if we get blown out for the 3rd week in a row, the comedy would be a welcome relief on the site.
