I'm not one to write on here about dumb trade ideas but the Browns just drafted their future QB and he doesn't have much to throw to. Burleson just broke his arm (again, plus 12-year vet), Josh Gordon is likely out for the year.. The team has TE Jordan Cameron and Greg Little and NOBODY even remotely close to being on a football team.

But where does that leave us?

People can criticize Mike Wallace all they want but he was doing his job last year. You take him off this team our WR group becomes super slow and the field becomes more compact. This is not the year to take away from Ryan Tannehill . . . it's all about him.

The deal would have to be unrealistic . . . like say both of Cleveland's first round picks next year.

The dead money involved with a trade of Wallace makes it damn near impossible to move him this season

This idea sounds like what happened two years ago. The Dolphins traded their #1 receiver, was left with nothing, stunk out the joint, and had to get another receiver. Instead what they need to do is work on Ryan Tannehill's long ball so that he can put it where it is supposed to be so that Wallace can catch the ball. Put Wallace in front of that machine that shoots balls out for hours on end so that he will not drop another ball. Let Lazor do a much better job than Sherman, and make all of us happy. I know I saw Wallace catch a bunch of touchdowns when he was with Pittsburgh. He can do the same thing here. By all means, do not trade Wallace. I am still sick to my stomach that Brandon Marshall was traded for what amounted to Michael Egnew and I forgot the other dude, who is not doing squat for the team right now.

Guess what? You wrote down a dumb idea

I was just thinking about Cleveland being a trade partner at WR, but I don't know if Wallace is a possibility. The browns are almost forced to make a move now unless they love some late round guys.

Hmmm I would trade him for a 2nd round and Josh Gordon =]. This should clear us of a big contract and have Josh Gordon.

The Browns stink with or without Gordon.

I wish people would stop with the trading of our good players. Mike Wallace isn't as great as the contract he got, but we need him to stretch the field. I just don't understand why every time we get a decent to good player, (wake, Wallace, Jordon, Hartline,) so on and so forth that people always want to trade them away. You will never be a good football team if you keep trading away your all star and leader type players.

And leave our own season damsged?

get off the mike wallace thing. that goes for everyone. your wasting time.

Wallace is the one guy that D's have to account for every play, and you want to trade him. Every single play a CB and a S has to pay attention to MW. He creates mis-matches just being on the field.
