Dont you think that It would be a lot cheaper for Ross to buy Super Bowl Rings for himself, Jeff Ireland and the rest of the coaching staff then give the team to Dan Marino because he doesnt need the money . Then Just get the Hell out of town?

Stephen Ross is a self made man. He started his career as a Detroit tax attorney and got into real estate. Today he is the biggest real estate developer in New York City and is also the second wealthiest owner in the NFL, behind Paul Allen (Bill Gates' co founder of Microsoft). While some may dismiss Stephen Ross, I sense that he is still learning to be a good owner. He is a very good man and is applying the principles he learned in business to his Dolphin ownership. We should be thankful that he's not a meddling owner like Daniel Snyder or Jerry Jones, who acts as the Cowboys GM.
The last 2 games were a disaster but up until then we had fielded a very competitive team. I don't understand why the wheels fell off so badly, but until those games most would have been supportive of keeping Joe Philbin at least for another year. It's easy to forget that we actually beat 3 of the 4 AFC Division winners (New England, Cincinatti and Indianapolis as well as the Wild Card playoff team, San Diego), so this was a mixed result.
Stephen Ross invested $1.1 Billion in the Dolphins. He is trying damn hard to succeed. Ireland and Philbin are probably on notice to make further progress.
