If quinn isn't available at 9 --> trade down for a 1st and a 2nd pick

in that case we take defense in 1st round, the best athlete available at any defensive position because obviously we need talent/youth everywhere and we should therefore choose by talent ... would prefer DT or CB though..
2nd round: we draft Drew Stanton and with the other pick, we take a Oline... OT would be great

3rd round: WR
4th - 7th : Defence(choose by talent once again, need is everywhere) and a Oline

We absolutely need to sign Adalius Thomas or Banta-Cain...perfect fits for our 4-3 3-4 schemes ... as for the CB position we either need to draft a 1st round stud or sign one that is available on FA ....I think that if we get those 2 signings and get this draft we should be in good shape for 07....

***** i forgot to tell you that i am very sceptikal about quinn for Qb....charlie WEis has a lot to do with his game... it's up to RM and CC to evaluate him well...that's what they're paid for !

:dolphins:

Drew Stanton wont be there in the 2nd. His stock is moving up and he is looking more and more like the Jay Cutler of this Draft.

NOBODY WANTS TO TRADE UP! Why dont they wanna trade up you ask? Well, why would we want to trade down!? because theres nothing worth pickign at #9? Well then theres nothing to trade up for at #9. RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Drew stanton was a 3rd rounder last week, he hasnt skyrocketed that much...He'll be around in the 2nd.

Sorta like Charlie Weis had a lot to do with developing Tom Brady's game? If Quinn's at #9, I don't see how you can pass that up.

when you have charlie weis calling plays for you, it helps an awful lot.... the reason i'm hesitating is rather Quinn is a system quarterback or not... and the question has yet to be answered...

yeah he's a system guy. the pro system which we use in the pro's. if quinn is there we will jump all over him. you can bet your sweet azz on that.

I'd prefer to draft a wide receiver in the second round over Stanton. I'm hoping a guy like Robert Meachem could slip to us. If Tony Ugoh is still on the board I would like that pick as well.

Agreed. Cameron is also a QB guru. See Drew Brees and Philip Rivers. I'm confident that he'll be able to mold Brady into a good pro if we get him.

While I def agree w/ u, u dont know what other people are thinking, like last year when the bills took whitner in the 1st rd, somebody always causes chaos in the 1st round

Stanton hasn't moved up at all according to Kiper and other scouts so I wouldn't be surprised if he slips to the 3rd round and in every article I've read and since I love college football all indications are there is no CB not even Leon Hall is worthy of #9 pick.I've seen him get burned by both Jarrett and Ginn repeatedly.The only 2 DB worthy of a pick this high are Landry and Nelson.As far as D-lineman Okoye,Gaines,Adams,Branch which branch won't even be there at 9 are worth the pick but seriously Roth could replace carter right now at end and lamar woodley will be there in the 2nd round or maybe charles johnson as well in the 2nd and both are a beast.The first pick has to be either DT or WR(Ginn or Jarrett).We should address OLB or CB in FA so that probably won't even be a need and our secondary is younger than people think with Daniels and J.Allen so just one more very good DB and re-sign Bell and it's a wrap.We need help on the o-line and true game beaking ability at WR which we dont truly have right now.I would love either Meachem or Ginn but preferably Ginn because of his KR capabilities.
